...because we need one. This is just a thread to relax and chat. Anything goes. There are a lot of us here that get a long very well, even when we disagree. I thought I'd make a place for us to say hey, maybe play some music, and just shoot the shit. We can party here on the 4th. Whatever your choice, win or lose, I think we'll all need a drink.

I bought some new garland today for my stairs. Soft and fluffy, green, and has ice crystals.

Yes! The 12 hour, need lots of cold pop flu! Of course they shouldn't be docked for that, it IS an illness.

> Lu > > I hired two of my little nieces to come and help me > wash windows and curtains tomorrow for the holiday > house cleaning project. My husband said they'll drink > pop and play with the puppies all day and he'll be > helping me hang curtains till midnight. He's probably right. I just can't see Aunt Rainy cracking the whip on 'em.

It makes him get church lady lips...lol Mine hates it when I stay up too late doing that. Oh well, I don't drink in the afternoon while shooting the shit with the local shop keepers either.

> Candice > > Did you hear he got scammed out of all his $$ and is > having to tour now at his age? That totally sucks!! I just remember taking guitar lessons as a kid and learning so many of his songs. Suzanne & many others. I think we had the whole book. Maybe he can write a few more great songs and live off those?? Oh, probably not with the internet & mp3 players, huh? You can't make as much money in the recording industry as they used to. Sad, really.
