I announced my candidacy for President on YouTube recently. So far I have promised support in Kentucky (lol), Louisiana, and Tennessee. I certainly thought Bill would have jumped on my bandwagon, being the person that he is. Oh well..a write in campaign without money, oil company support, being against illegal immigration, I guess it is a long shot. I can't understand why Arkansas isn't supporting me..(I don't have any teeth either).

I acknowledge your anticipation for a new leader which, I assure you I do too. I remain skeptical however, if much will change in this country due to the reality we currently face. As long as corporations can provoke the will of the masses and persuade them to accept a war based on thier interests will much change?
While the majority of Americans embrace Obama as the next president do you think he can release America from this corporate giant that holds us? This is question has plagued me for quite a while because in the end I believe the majority could be wrong like. Remember: "A good decision is based on knowledge and not on numbers."

Hey Bill, I do agree with Rev. Wright and what he says about America.
How can Americans honestly say that we haven't started unnecessary conflicts and killed millions of innocent people around the world in our very short history. Not to mention the fact that we use war as a business, and disguise it as a humanitarian/defensive act. Pearl Harbor (Nagasaki, Hiroshima), Vietnam and Iraq, etc.
Darfur for instance, what have we done for them? Besides calling it a genocide, nothing else has been done to help those people who need it most. Obviously no benefit to USA, so why bother.
Americans are either too stupid, uninformed or don't want to know because it interferes with their own desire to further themselves. We are the most selfish, self-absorbed, consuming, fat and ugly nation in the world.
I admire Rev Wright for calling things what they really are. I am tired of people sugar-coating, being overly confident and positive about everything. Americans need to be told that America is not the greatest country in the world. we have allot of bad karma coming our way.
I, like you, don't want to leave America. I just want America to act responsibly towards the rest of the world, be held accountable for it's f**k-ups, stop creating wars and killing people for no real good reason.

All of the panel members was very good week. Tavis Smiley,and Robert Klein was insightful.
Bill thanks for defending Hillary, even though you feel that Obama is a better choice. That is your opinion, but I am glad that you are remaining open-minded about the democratic race.
I did not like the comparision of the two photo of the religious extremist, that was lop-sided. One photo, a head shot of a smiling person, the second photo a full body shot of a fat, frowning man. That was unfair.
Tell your writer their henpecking is getting a little better. But even you are noticing that some jokes sank like lead. Don't blame it on the audience, some was in poor taste, and some jokes needed refining.
Still a good show, please have less Savage, and more Klein.

Hey Handsome Bill,
Great show, as always, loved the detailed info from John Cusack, and all the guests were great. One question to Robert Klein, I am a great fan, he has made me laugh for years, but Bobby, what's up with the teeth? They look like a row of off-white giant chicklets, I know you can afford better.
That said, Bill, how is it you look more handsome every show, you are just too adorable. To the main topic, does everyone notice how the Clintons are making it very obvious they want John McCain to win if it is not Hilary as the candidate? Why would Bill Clinton be praising McCain, I will tell you. Because he KNOWS that his wife is NOT going to be the candidate, and he is doing all he can to undermine Obama's chances. I hope soon a democrat that has backbone, unlike Howard Dean, will come out and call the Clintons what they really are, TRAITORS to their own party. I am disappointed in Bill Clinton as I used to admire him, though living with that harpy of a wife I guess could skew anyone. If he stops soon, I MAY be able to forgive him, and when this is over and Hilary is finally OUT, he should leave her. I will NEVER vote for her again, I live in NY, and will not ever help her get elected here as anything again.
Also Bill, you are right, people should back off Eliot Spitzer, he is no more a hypocrit as most others, especially his replacement, YUCKY!!!!

Yes, all nationalities have gone through hell when they came to this country. Look at what was done to the Native American Indians, they had the WORST done to them. I don't hear every word out of their mouths about discrimination and apartied. We are STILL starving them. They live in deplorable conditions. Worse than any other American. I am so tired of hearing someone separating nationalities, it sickens me! The Italians were treated just as bad as the African Americans. They were put in the same catagory. I don't hear either still crying descrimination or slavery or apartied. Get over it. We all have to put the past in the past, that's where it belongs. There are MORE important issues at hand ie. global warming, if we don't take care of that, we should all get a mirror and kiss our asses good-bye.

Bill, in light of the current situation here in America, what with the economy in the toilet and getting worse, the war in Iraq that's getting worse, the war in Afghanistan that's getting worse from lack of attention, our falling status within the world, and the problem of terrorism around the world. Who's really at fault? Who deserves the most fault? Is G.W. Bush, Dick Cheny, and Karl Rove the real axis of evil? Of course, the majority of fault belongs to them for selling America a bogus bill of goods. But what about the media? Why didn't the media ask the tough, challenging questions that should have been asked from the very beginning? What was the media so afraid of? I think that by now that America is aware that Bush, Cheny, and Rove are masters of dirty pool politics, of obfuscation, and evasion by deception. They were and are the epitome of style over substance. Shouldn't they be held accountable for their actions? Should a criminal investigation and possible criminal charges be brought against them for all of the damage that they have done to this country? Shouldn't it be illegal for incompetence and ineptitude of such a grand scale to exist in the highest office of the free world?

I find it interesting that no one has brought up the issue that McCain can not legally run for President, because he was not born in the United States. Yes, it is a stupid rule... but many are in hind site. Has any one heard this addressed, or are they just going to ignore it?
