Mr. Belzer provided very accurate analysis concerning the wealth problem being a result of the Fed and its unlimited money creation without backing. This is what creates inflation, and the increasing cost of services and goods is how the banks and politicians steal the most. Bravo Richard.

I think Jimmy Carter was right. There is too much prejudice out there now. I just hope Obama can be re elected with out all that prejudice. What is wrong with people in this country are they all stupid or just not educated. I think the white people don't know they are in the minority. I am white, female and have a college education. Does this make me more of a minority? I am in my 70's and still working full time. I think my brain is with the program. I have no problem with Obama he has been doing a great job. I just have a real problem with the polititions who are trying to stop change in health care. My God, Nixon started all this Drug Company abuse. Time for Change. Change is good. I swear these prejudiced people seem to blame Obama and not George Bush for getting us in a mess. What is wrong don't they get it? It was that damn stupid Republican we just got rid of. Is it prejudice that is going on now?

An important issue to consider for future episodes. Why the dearth of Latino panelists and guests? There is a need for someone who knows how to book excellent Latino guests for the show from time to time. A lot of Latinos have been watching Bill since the days of Politically Incorrect and we love his show. This absence of Latinos is unconscionable, given not only the demographic reality but also the excellent contributions that Latinos would give to the discourse. Imagine Dolores Huerta, Rep. Luis Gutierrez, Bill Richardson, Rep. Nydia Velasquez, Rodolfo Acuña, Donaldo Macedo (UMA), Janet Murguia (NCLR), Sylvia Garcia (NALEO), Patricia Madrid (MALDEF), Harry Pachon (Tomas Rivera Policy Inst.) Dr. Angela Valenzuela (UT), and so many countless others, literally thousands who would make excellent guests.
We only see minutemen vigilantes and know-nothing pundits, or Hollywood actors when Latinos are discussed in politics-Ya Basta! HBO and Bill can do a lot better. Si Se Puede!

Why are the insurance companies against the public option?
If all the sickest, neediest people were moved into the public option, that would leave the healthier, more profitable people for the private insurance companies.
It would be just like the government moving all the "toxic assets" into one "bad bank", thereby bailing out the financial industry.
Yes, we taxpayers are stuck with bill either way, but what are the private insurers so upset about this?

I have only seen coverage of one person bringing a gun to any protest. He was black and was an Obama supporter. If there were other people covered, I sure like to know.

I don't think people understand how perilous our situation was during the financial "meltdown" and as a result, don't see the necessity for changes such as a revision of financial regulation and measures to improve the health of Americans and to hold down inflation in health care costs.
So, PLEASE, answer the question, "What would it have been like if the government had not intervened and the national and global financial systems had actually melted down?"

Before the birthers, idiots, dumb asses, that covers all that still live under rocks, why don't they wait til we get our first Black President. I'm still claiming President Obama as white too. I really don't care what color the outside of someones skin is as long as the person wants to do the right thing for all of us. But why are people being racest to him? Hes just as white as black.
