i cant express how disheartened i was hearing you say vaccines are useless and even harmful. (did i misunderstand you? ...i hope so) you've been the voice of reason all this time, at least for me now you , of all people, are joining the tin-foil hat crowd?? no Bill nooooooo!! please check with the Center for Disease Control, the AMA, or even the the National Science Foundation people who think george bush was behind 9/11 have their "proof" too. yet, rational people know better. rational people know a bunch of radical muslims were behind 9/11 ...not the president of the united states and rational people know that many terrible diseases have been all but eliminated in the west, and some even eliminated globally, because of childhood vaccinations we have a BUNCH of people in this country who believe Barack Obama is a Nazi... a Muslim Nazi please dont add to this current rash of nuttiness by dissuading people from getting flu shots flu shots have saved many lives over the years again, if i misunderstood you, my deepest apologies your fan and fellow infidel,

What is the deal with the "Census Packet" do they feel it's time to bring out the old abacus and see how many of us are other than white, so that they can start changing rules that have given other people of color a change to advance? I still feel like my grandmother age 93 says and use to say "Don't trust them baby!" And I f eel that same I am not sending in any information on myself or my family..cuz.... "You still can't trust them!"

I love Bill Maher and I love his show. My question is: What can we do about the Democrats that are in the Republicans pockets. Is there a way that they can be removed from congress other than waiting for some of their dirty little /big secrets are exposed. Obama needs support not back stabbers. Thank you for being so inspiring for myself and others. One of your best fans

Since we're on the subject of healthcare. Even though we know your opinion on the healthcare issue, and some of the reasons you're against westernized medicine. one of them being we're all fat, so that's why we're sick. We don't really know that much about what you think would be a better type of medicine. Again, just like republicans view on liberals is that they don't have anything to replace anything after they destroy something. The same with your view on healthcare. Again we hear time and time again your against Western views on Medicine. But what do you want to replace western medicine with? voodoo type asian acupuncture crap?? Or do you want all our auras checked and fixed, then maybe we'll be healthy!!!???? Again, you're definitely a rational man as pointed out in "Religilous", but I think you're views on medicine are quite irrational if you believe in acupuncture and all that hippie bullshit. or maybe if i smoke this herb that comes from this earth, all my body will be healed.... I mean come on...a point on your body that directs energy to other points on your body??? Maybe point out a few books that support/or influence your actual view on medicine.

When will our media organizations expose the financial sources (example Richard Mellon-Scaife) backing the conservative movement in the United States?

I liked Maher for many years; But when he raised his rake in anger for the head of Roman Polanski; uttering inciteful words to provoke additional unrest; he became as transparent and shallow as the "town hall meeting" mentality he opposes. He has joined the Witchhunt. Roman made a big mistake. In an effort to show intelligence, Maher has shown his stupidity and anger. He has become what he hates. I hate what he did and I can't listen to him anymore. To the fools who responded as fools: You know little of what you say and less about your Lynch Mob attitude. You are just the kind of people who burned witches. I believe one of you wants to rape me. Buddy; you're scum and all you know is hate because you are frustrated with your inabillity to be solve your own problems and are looking for a scapegoat. Bill is drawing a line in the sand to distance himself from the issue, appear "moral" and broaden his appeal. But his blind attitude incites zombies like yourself...you would have fit in Hitler's plot to mold the feeble minded into a hate group. This is not the intelligence, I admired Bill for; this is hate and you are frightening.

Why would the government care? Not only do they get to do what they please in just about every way, but they get paid for doing it. In every industry if a person wants to make money he/she has to know people in that industry that are successful...Our government is a fraternity of businessmen that cares about individual gain, just like every other individual that has ever lived. Although I cannot blame them for being human, there are definitely more intelligent people in this country that are more worried about doing the right thing. Although there will never be a philosophy/government that makes everyone happy, the least we could do is make it legitimately possible for everyone to be equal. Our government is obviously corrupt. Hell, Bush even found a way to defy the constitution. HELLO ITS WRONG AMERICA CAN WE PLEASE STEP UP AND DO SOMETHING INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION TO FIX IT? By the time it is the next generation's turn it will be too late. That much is obvious.

You kids and your Wiki are doing good tings, but, do you really trust something that can be edited at random? Mine is here in a text book. I'll try to find it on the web tomorrow. One of our BIG biology lessons was - specifically - that they did not know enough to cover their noses. We had a big giant lesson on it before you were born. That lesson always stuck with me because is was so far from current thinking on masks and only as far as a philtrum. I state, firmly, that one should not get every single vaccine out there. Caution is wise. Yes, vaccines are brilliant. Yes, they do make money for the medical community. But, people STILL go to work sick. You-all have not disseminated all of the necessary information very well. Washing hands is good, but bacteria do not get in through the skin. They are carried to the mouth ( eyes and nose ) with the hands and you-all have not managed to spread that info either. People DO get sick from the vaccines. THAT IS how the immune system "learns". You-all have, indeed, created a group of people that follow your every command and worship doctors as if they are gods but vaccines are not perfect. They are good and semi-necessary

The Medical Community. The people who sold anti-biotics to people with viruses - telling them that it might help treat a possible infection that HADN'T happened yet -making anti-biotic-resistant strains of illnesses that we could have cured or contained like we did Small Pox!!! No amount of typing or flapping your mouth is defense of such a terrible idea. Sure, the microbes might have evolved beyond the aniti-biotic EVENTUALLY but that is NO REASON for you-all to have hastened the process. fools

Okay, let's look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:1918_flu_outbreak2.jpg Masks over nose and mouth. So your statement of historical fact -- whatever it's alleged relevance were it true -- is flat out wrong. Your rejection of the biological sciences should be considered in this light.

I admire Bill for stating his opinion about Roman P he went against many of his comtemparies and spoke his mind, and stood, in my mind for young women and young men everywhere that are "taken in" by older men. It simply, is never right. But I agree, let's forget the "hype" & move on to more important matters like poverty, war, hunger, just a few minor issues out there.
