I have an excellent question for you, Bill!
Why have you never invited the independent film director Peter Joseph, creator of the movie 'Zeitgeist' on your show?
This movie, since it's release in 2007, has been seen by literally millions of people, but it's something that no one will talk about openly in polite-company. The reason I bring this up is because Peter Joseph is getting ready to release his 3rd film titled 'Zeitgeist III'.
If you haven't seen this film, I urge you to watch it. The director has released it online for free for anyone to view. If you, or your staff are curious, I'll also provide a link. Thanks in advance, Bill!

I liked Maher for many years; But when he raised his rake in anger for the head of Roman Polanski; uttering inciteful words to provoke additional unrest; he became as transparent and shallow as the "town hall meeting" mentality he opposes. He has joined the Witchhunt. Roman made a big mistake. In an effort to show intelligence, Maher has shown his stupidity and anger. He has become what he hates. I hate what he did and I can't listen to him anymore.

Why dodn't we ask Obama to negotiate with the Taliban, Its their Country not our's and if they dodn't want democracy It's none of our buniness, as long as they reject Osama then we need to go where he's at Pakistan, and get the job done , then get out without Nation building, we have enough Christian thinking in this, the type that say's we will save you even if we have to kill all of you ,and kill our own children to save you, so we can stand by our standard's.

If you feel you need to get the vaccine, that it will make you safe, then by all means, get it! Be healthy & vibrant the day you get the shot. But, if you have lived through other "epidemics" and feel safe, and live somewhat isolated as I do, I choose to refrain. And I guess that's what it is all about. I choose.
I'm a little sorry for people cramped in a city where they may not have much of a choice. And realize medical professionals think in 1,000's and millions, but I simply don't trust pharmaceutical companies to have my best interest at heart, nor the AMA for that matter. Sorry! I'm 63 years old, & I would never get any vaccine shot!

My father was a doctor.
My grandfather was a doctor.
My mother was a chemist.
My grandmother (1) gave nutrition lectures during
the Great Depression.
We never get new vaccines.
We got the Polio sugar cube, tetanus, small pox
and
the rebella gun-in-arm
but
we do not get every new vaccine that comes down the pike.
I do kid's parties.
So, I am exposed to more children that - even -
school teachers.
I DO NOT get a 'flu' shot every year.

Dear Mr. Maher & Roundtable Guests,
We talk about the unhealthy and obese, eating better for families ect..... Then why is it cheaper to buy a box of Little Debbies then a bag of apples? Fix that and our poor will be healthier, schools are giving fruit and juices and taking ice cream and soda out.... Offer big Market Companies tax breaks for selling thier produce cheaper.... come on Ralph"s/Kroger, stop killing the ppor with your crap for a buck!!!!!!

This is to Bill Maher:
I am a medical professional and I think you did your viewers a great disservice by discouraging vaccinations. I have been a loyal viewer to your show for years, and I agree with the majority of your view points and think you are an incredibly intelligent person. I also loved your movie, "Religulous."
However, for the first time in a long time, I actually agreed with a Republican, Dr. Bill Frist. I see your point regarding pharmaceutical companies; they are greedy bastards that make a lot of money. But they also do amazing research, and vaccinations are nothing short of a miracle for prevention.
Your discredit to vaccinations was akin to the pope telling the public that condoms are ineffective. Sure, vaccines might not be 100% effective, but even stopping the spread of infection for a few thousand would help stop the spread for millions.
And Dr. Frist's comment regarding pregnant women and H1N1 should not be taken lightly; for whatever physiologic reason (lower immunity protection during pregnancy, for one) pregnant women are especially susceptible to this virus. And it is killing them and their fetuses. And yes, seemingly healthy people are dying from this virus, that is not a joke.
When medical residency programs are instilling back-up plans for their back-up plans in scheduling due to H1N1, I would not waste time complaining about the profits the drug companies will make. When available I will get an H1N1 vaccination as soon as possible, if not for only myself, but for the well being of my patients. To not do so would be incredibly ignorant and would be putting already compromised patients at an even greater risk for health complications.
Bill, (can I call you Bill?) I really hope you further educate yourself on this topic before encouraging viewers to forgo vaccinations. I was really disappointed on your perspective regarding vaccinations tonight.

It is called an adjuvant and the only currently licensed adjuvant for human use in the U.S. is an "alum" adjuvant, which is composed of aluminum salts. Besides, the ever so small amount of substance received from a vaccine is a much lower exposure than we receive in our daily diets and water. Do you know how much mercury is in most of the fish we consume?

nothing will change in the US until we hit the streets and march for change...the fat cats will continue to rake in their 400% and we will sit and watch them...until we say enough..unite and hit the streets.

I am a 19 year old white male that tries to be as well informed as is possible. When I look at my future i am not excited about living in America. When will we (american citizens) stop bitching and start acting? HOW CAN WE ACT NOW? Your show hits a lot of points that disgruntled citizens enjoy watching but please tell me how we can mobilize and actually make a difference. We are the alpha nation of obesity, ignorance, and laziness. When do we ask why and actually do something about it. Obviously nothing will happen if we just talk.
