Bill, I am hoping that one day our country will wake up one day to realize that the people causing terror, the ones making more taped messages than Osama Bin Laden, and the one causing fear in our country instead of inspiring change or any positive alternatives. The real people who have called for attacks on American to motivate change have been Dick Cheney, Glen Beck, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. Betsy McCaughey is not much better, it is irresponsible to set off a fire storm in a country already struggling. When will the citizens who support these people finally realize that its terror they inspire and not the ideals that America stands on.

I agree...I am common...That's why I want to ask Bill something that hasn't come up on healthcare. Do think that the public option plan was intentionally set up for failure? Perhaps neither party wanted a public option but used the threat of one as leverage. Afterall, as you said they did call it Public Option. Isn;t that a fairly sound indicator that the Public Option was all hype? Now the Insurance Companies get even more clients to ripoff and we the people get penalized for not having insurance. Is it time for a Gandhi revolution yet?

Bill, Don't you think it would be beneficial to have "common folk" as part of your discussion panel every now and then? It would be intriguing to see them interacting with your typical caliber of weekly guests on many issues.

If, as Janeane Garofalo said on last week's show, Muslim terrorism is not religious but the political result of our meddling in the Middle East, why haven't we been attacked by Latin American terrorists in the past 50 years for meddling with their continent?

What do you think of Professor Mojib Latif, a leading climate modeller and author for the IPCC, and his apparent position change on global warming?

An area you have often touched on is how Conservative Republicans effectively use their favorite manipulation tool ? FEAR. Clearly, this is an adaptation of the centuries-old fear mongering exploited by religions. It was understandably very effective in the past due to the high level of ignorance and lack of education ? also perpetuated by the religions. ?Keep the peasants Ignorant and Scared!? Even though we have supposedly grown out of our infancy, why does it still work so well? Are people so ?afraid of living? that they fabricate the ignorance necessary to continue to be controlled ? and manipulated? For all their talk about personal freedom, Republicans (and Religions) teach personal insecurity ? thinkers make lousy followers. Isn?t this the true battleground ? getting people to believe in themselves and become ?true? individuals?
