See if you can get George Lopez on the show to talk about the Latinos becoming the majority soon.

For Chris Matthews: Why is it the Phillies haven't had you throw out the first ball or even sing the National Anthem before a game?

Why can't we tax fast food, video games, and other things that Americans are addicted to and is making us an unhealthy nation, to help pay for the public option and healthcare in general? Capitalize on our unhealthy habits for the greater good of the people. I'm sure that people will pay that extra 30 cents for that Big Mac, and then after- they can go for an EKG. -- Edited by fromjro2 at 10/14/2009 12:20 PM PDT -- Edited by fromjro2 at 10/14/2009 12:22 PM PDT

-new book out " The Great Climate Catastrophe", haven't read it yet Bill I was looking into my granddaughter's eyes wondering what hell she was going to face, never mind what hell I might face in the future. I know the drums are starting to beat more loudly in terms of hearing the words "global warming" mentioned more often in the media these days. Bill, as a citizen, what can I do to put the pressure on for something to be done? I mean who should we pressure? What should we ask for? It would be nice if someone like a Bono, Clooney, or a Angela Jolie would step forward. Thank God you are!

If the new bill provides private insurance companies access to a Federal bank account, isn't that kind of like letting vampires work for Red Cross???? Seems to be the worse of both worlds.

Europe is more atheistic and socialistic than America which is more religious and capitalistic, shouldn't it be the other way around?
