I am going to try my hardest to get there. It depends on how well my kids fare on the trip. I am pretty sure we'll go. I promise to take lots of pics (I'll send them to you so you can post them on your kick ass site!!!!!!!!)

Yep, I'm in CA. I've always wanted to see that part of the country, just haven't done it yet. Holmes, are you going to Monticello and Mt. Vernon? I'm so jealous! Have a good time, and take lots of pics!

Seriously, I've gone abroad several times, I've done Canada and Mexico, but have never been east of the Missouri /Mississippi River. Which coincidentely originates in Montana with the confluence of the Madison and Jefferson Rivers.

Funny you should mention going to Monticello; we were just talking about a possible trip next month, and I casually introduced the idea of Virginia - my husband said "Oh, yeah, we haven't been to Williamsburg in ages'", and I (of course) brought up Monticello and Mt. Vernon....
