Year-end round table

I am a woman and only watch sports on occasion. I really enjoy a good college football game and watch the major tennis tournaments, that's about it. This morning, I turned on my tv which had been tuned to HBO last night. Real Sports was on, a year-end roundtable. I ended up stopping what I was doing and sitting down with my coffee to watch. THOSE are the kind of reporters and stories I want to see. The behind-the-scenes stories with the major sports, sure. But more so the stories you wouldn't see anywhere else, by reporters that care not only about the story, but the people. Compelling and sometimes sad. However, that's the world we live in. I may just have to tune in again!

I haven't seen the Year-end round table, but I do watch Real Sports when I can. I actually only like a few sports, but this show has me as a fan. I actually watched the one on NFL. (I don't like football, I think it's slow, and I dread my hubby wanting to watch back-to-back games.) I watched every second of it. I enjoyed it. I love the style of the show, the reporting, Bryant's questions to the reporter...I loved what Bryant said at the end of that show.

Like you I feel that the stories are compelling and sometimes sad. I was reeled into this show because of the story on racehorses that are slaughtered.
