This new thread serves as a continuation of the blooming relationship between Atia (HBO's snarky sex-goddess and mother to the first-citizen) and Alexios (The young wealthy tradesman). Also we'll hopefully get to see the continued special guest appearances of CharlieRoofer: the shape-shifting jester, and Cerberuss the dog: Charlie's arch-rival. For those interested in joining the fun: please don't hesitate to join in! But, remember I am Atia's first spear.

Wow! When a woman is megaloprepis she can get anyone to talk That's a very charming story, which I confess even I wasn't aware of. Why thank you! Hephaestus and I do have something in common: a fine appreciation for earthworks. However he and also have a sharp contrast: he was married to the most beautiful goddess in the world but she was not faithful to him; I am not married to the most beautiful woman in the world but she is faithful to me. Poor Hephaestus divorced his unfaithful wife, so perhaps I should marry my lovely girlfriend? > > *steals an impish glance in your direction* > > Perhaps by the end of the day, if I play my > cards > > right, of course, we'll become members of the > mile > > high club? > *laughs lightly* Well you certainly know how to > motivate me to make the climb! *smiles seductively* > You are going to need your strength, Kallistos. Light for a pilsner, but still possessing a robust taste. How's yours? I really must hand it to the designers of this new beer too; they really understand that handsome design attracts first time tasters. *gazes from between the columns to towards the acrocorinth* Yes...a break is a good idea! You might have to carry me by the time we get to the top *winks* *pauses for a moment, looks slightly pensive* Honeybunny...I've been thinking that we might want to cut our trip a little short. We are behind schedule, thanks to me; what do you say to the idea of cutting Athens out? I promise I'd make it up to you once we get back to Capri!!

Hmm, well as a gift for Castor, a scene of virile young men engaged in athletics. For myself, perhaps one that tells the story of Pheidolas? The first mate told me the story. The Corinthian Pheidolas was riding a mare named Aura (breeze) in the Olympiks, but in the beginning of the race he fell down. The mare went on running, turned around the post and when she heard the trumpet for the finish, she opened her speed, reaching first the umpires and stopped running, when she realized that she had won! Pheidolas was proclaimed the winner of the race by the Eleans and he was allowed to dedicate a statue of his mare. > > > Ah, here is the bust of the > > > famous tyrant Periander. As to Hephaestus, I'm not surprised a talented builder such as yourself would appreciate the forge god's creative talents. > *steals an impish glance in your direction* > Perhaps by the end of the day, if I play my cards > right, of course, we'll become members of the mile > high club? *laughs lightly* Well you certainly know how to motivate me to make the climb! *smiles seductively* You are going to need your strength, Kallistos. I suggest we pause here a moment to refresh ourselves for the remainder of the journey. *approaches nearby vendor and purchases Alexios a Zeos pilsner and a Blue Mak for myself. *leads him to the sit under the between the temple columns for a short time to share our beer and some good conversation*
