Atia is having a costume party, what will our favorite denizens of Rome wear? The only thing I am certain of is that Antony's will involve heavy eye make-up. And how would we dress? Any thoughts? Anyone? Bueller..... Bueller.....Bueller?

Marcus Jeriticus Springero will attend accompanied by Gary Oldman disguised as a black rock...(or is that black dog?) The ghost of great Caesar will accompany Cleo, who will be festooned as Medusa, and Caesarian is dressing as Ra just to be a brat. Titus Pullo (recently back from an extensive tour) will entertain with his 'Allo, Ladies! ensemble dressed only in a fig leaf. The TRT has been trying to nail down a hot rumor that has been circulating that InsolentWretch will make an appearance riding bareback au natural...

Hi, All Glad to see this is turning out to be quite the party. Get your costumes ready. Timon comes as Mr. Ed and fools everybody. The talking horse with the horsey smell astounds all and is the hit of the party. Octavian demands that this talking horse become the Emperor's personal steed and much confusion ensues when he tries to mount Mr. Ed.

As her beloved Gius is already dead and his ashes shall be worn as Servillia's costume, the dear lady Calpurnia shall arrive as the Bride of the Dead, demanding her dead husband back from Servillia. I think amongst her many "deadly" trinkets in her bag shall be a small whisk broom and urn to capture all the ashes falling off of Servillia's body. Please no sneezing around Servillia and no spilling of the wine! LadyC

Whew, Pats! I was afraid you'd say Cassius was coming in his birthday SUIT! I'm afraid he's NOT one of the cast members looking nice naked! I have no IDEA what I'd come as! I actually have a Roman costume... maybe I'd wear it just to fit in. It's robin-egg blue with a royal blue palla. I bought some lovely leather Roman-style sandals when I was in Alex, so maybe I'd wear those too.

Pompey could stitch back on his head and arrive as Frankenstein's monster. Blue Glabius would make a fine...well, Blue Glabius.

How would you come to the party? This is how I picture Vorenus coming - in his uniform. That is as far as his imagination and his humor take him. So he can escort Pullo, who attends as a whore of Narbo.

Thanks for this depiction, Mark Miller. The News Reader is attending as Queen Elizabeth. Pearl necklace supplied by Tiffanius of Rome supplying jewelry to the patricians of Rome since Romulus and Remus; Handbag by Hermes, fashionistas to the gods (no matter which gods yours are).
