Hi wicky! Muses... I've been gone a while, too, and I know what you mean! Such a mass deletion there was. The Sewer was saved, though, on the RomeArchives site. Insy better get over here before i hit her with my pimp cane.

HI CC! Hmmmm. I've been away for quite awhile, and it appears that I am both homeless and Insyless... Good thing I saved the hot tub. Now help me find a good sewer outflow pool to put this thing in....

> One thread that used to have me rolling on the floor: > "You Know You've Been Watching Too Much Rome When..." Oh yes that was one of the funniest threads. I used to read it (under another name) and roll on the floor laughing. I wish they would make that Rome movie and bring these boards back to life again.

Remember these from way back when? I think this was started by Romanhistorybuff, but I'm not quite sure: By Romanhistorybuff: Where would the freshman class be likely to end up at college? Caesar: West Point or Harvard. Major: cross-disciplinary studies in military science, economics, and government. Mark Antony: starting football player at a party school like Florida State. Major: politics Atia: big-haired Texas girl sorority cheerleader at Univ. of Texas or Rice. Major: sociology Servilia: Vassar or Wellesley. Major: English lit Brutus: some geek school like MIT, or Princeton. Major: either a science or philosophy Cicero: Yale blowhard, major: law and philosophy Cato and Vorenus: some religious school like Bob Jones Univ., Liberty Univ. or Wheaton College in Illinois. Major: Theology Pullo: high school drop-out; college of hard knocks Octavia: GED, if she's lucky Octavian: Princeton or Harvard. Major: political science with economics minor Pompey: one of the big 10 like Univ of Michigan By Alkibiades: What about sports, team activities, clubs, and favorite games: Caesar - President, Student Government / favorite game: Monopoly Marc Antony - Captain, Football Team / Assistant Coach, Girl's Fencing Team Vorenus - Good Citizenship Award Octavian - Chess Team (champion) / Poetry Club Pullo - [no teams or clubs, but was famous for his keg parties] Cicero and Cato - Debate Team Timon - Equestrian Team Brutus - President, Honor Society Atia - Cheerleader / Organizer, Freshman Prom / Voted "Most Popular" by the Football Team Niobe - Prom Queen Octavia - [no teams or clubs, but favorite games include "Spin the Bottle" and "Pass the Package"] Eirene - [no teams or clubs; favorite game, "Spit" (the card game, that is)] Note: During the hockey team?s finals, the challenging team, the Senators, was ejected for carrying knives through the metal detector. The Imperators' rookie goalie, Gaius Julius Caesar, breathed a sigh of relief. By cleopatraselene: It's possible also that the Nuntiator went to Columbia School of Journalism, but his appearance not thought TV worthy, he ended up on talk radio, with his program sponsored by....you guessed it. The Brotherhood of Millers. By Mizbiz: Ptolomey XIII Philopater (Not Pictued) Captain of the swim team Fondest Memories: Letting it all hant out with P & T, playing head games with Pompey. By Kynkari: Caesar, OMG Caesar! This year has been, like, OMG so great. It's so, like, great knowing you and being your friend, OMG. You're like, so funny. OMG! We should totally hook up over this summer. Being in Egypt with you was SO GREAT OMG. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. OMG I totally hope we're in Egypt again next year LOL. LOL and OMG Caesar! Love, Cleo PS. I think Servilia's hair looks like a giant butt. OMG, don't you?
