Things You'll Never Hear A Particular Rome Poster Say..."

I started this over in the "Things you'll never hear a poster on the Rome board say..." thread, then decided that it needs a thread of its own.

Cheryl......

Aggripinilla: "Kevin McKidd? I could never have the hots for that short-arse shit. He has a Gaulish look about him."

Labia: "Oh that Ray fellow? Nah, he doesn't excite me at all."

Nomad: "Ray Stevenson - he does nothing for me."

Camamar: "Ray Stevenson? Who's he?"

Kynk and LadyA: "Farting is so uncouth."

Cheryl: "Cursing? Me? Never? It's so unlady-like."

Titus: "Sex? It bores me. In fact, I'm asexual"

Alki: "I hate to flirt, especially with Cacabus."

Cacabus: "I hate to flirt, especially with Alki."

-----------------------------------------------------

Alki:

Aretzios: "What do the facts matter? Bring on the raunch."

Cherylp: "My big American what?"

Iulus: "I hate kissing."

Alexios: "Polly who?"

Cacabus: "I'll trade my Cubs cap for your Mets cap."

Kynk: "Erectile dysfunction is always welcome."

AtiaLustii: "Alexios darling, I'm just not in the mood."

Titus: "None of you ladies can put oak in my penis."

LadyC: "Don't bother to vote."

---------------------------------------------

There are sooo many more to pick on. Feel free to continue.....

In regards to Blu-Ray.... we recently purchased a home-theatre system. That included a Blu-Ray player. In discussing the equipment, we learned that most recent DVD's that are not specifically marked "Blu-Ray" will actually be boosted in quality when played on a Blu-Ray player. ROME looks FANTASTIC on my new player. B-)

:^O I dunno, Alki....... I still have yet to see Bill Compton in True Blood.

I'm reserving judgment.

But Bill Compton would have to go a long way to beat the mighty Titus Pullo. :-x *opens doors to him*

Oh, cool! HBO really needs to catch up with the whole Blu-Ray thing. And they need to put theirs shows OnDemand in HD!

I never thought they'd put ROme on Blu-Ray before a lot of their other shows' seasons. Best Buy has been selling the Band of Brothers Blu-Ray DVD set for around $50. Great deal. I saw on eBay that the standard version is selling pretty well. Might be worth me doing the ole trade-in.

Anybody want to buy used DVD's of Rome season 1 and 2?

edited to add: Maybe I shouldn't say I would NEVER say that.....but it would probably be a while before I ventured to buy Blu-Rays.

Ooh! I said "Ray". :-x

Alexios: I know a great new diet perfect for all the ladies of Rome.

MOB and Nomad: *sigh* Ray is such a disappointment in person.
