Woo hoo! HBO to re-air ROME!!!

According to Lotis on RS.com (who is never wrong!) Rome will re-air on Saturdays beginning 29 March!

Whoopie! Oof! The boards may liven up, we may get new posters (so everybody be nice and don't get too annoyed when they ask when Season III begins nor introduce them to Aretzios) *snork* and whatever you do, do NOT tell them Lyde is blind! :^O Let them be surprised. :-p

*setting up the party tables*
*stringing leafy streamers all over the villa*
*weaving floral crowns*
*setting up the statues of Fortuna to amuse Vorenus*
*chilling the best Falernian*
*scrubbing that nasty red stain off the column*
*encouraging TitusPullo to take a bath*

It's PARTAY time!

WOW nomad I need to come on the rome boards more often! I just had my tivo change channels and let out a WHOOP when it was rome! I'm so excited I do hope this is a sign that the Rome movie is a go.

*cheer*

(i do wish that they would do some of the rome movie as "background history" so all the characters can interact again but I'll not argue with anything HBO does .....not yet anyway *snicker*)

Another excellent post Nomad, I'd forgotten some of those moments! I have two HBO East channels, so one of them is bound to be HBO East 2. This is just the incentive I need to finally figure out why my DVD recorder stopped working. Hopefully it won't take ALL my Saturday... I need a left brained male, good with hardware and tech toys. Best stock up on Falanghina.

Oooooooo! This is soooo exciting!

I haven't been this excited since Titus Pullo discussed the button with Vorenus, or *pinball*ed Cleo around the tent, or said breathily, *Hello, ladies*!" after doing the Nubian! Always the gentleman, neh?

Or when he said to Octavian, "Juno's cunt, you're a salty one!" What a way with words!

Or when he stuck that crooked gambler in the throat with a knife. *eyes widened, oddly thrilled* Me, I mean.

Or when he said at the whipping post, "I was just begining to *enjoy* myself!" OOF! I knew I was in love RIGHT THEN.

Or when he said, "I'm Titus Pullo and you can SUCK MY COCK the LOT of yas!" Endearing! Positively endearing!

Or when he bit out Memmio's tongue. So savage, yet...oddly sexy that was.

Or when he threw the axe into the chest of that nasty guy who was seducing Vorena the Elder. No one messes with HIS friends!

Or when he gazed sadly and longingly at Vorenus and Niobe as they went up the stairs together. So bloody needful!

Or when he stealthily moved into fighting position when Erastes Fulmen and his henchmen came into the yard. A soldier, doing what he knew to do.

Or when he took that twit Eirene into his delicious arms after she had been dragged off by the oxen. Very romantic!

Or when he had that terribly abandoned look on his face when the legionaries of the 13th said he couldn't march in Caesar's triumph. Awww. Wanted to snuggle him.

Or when he lost it just a tad and decorated the column with Oedipus. He's sooo impetuous, that boy!

Or when he laid next to his pregnant wife and placed his elegant hand on her belly. I cried with happiness for him!

Or when he sat by the fire with Vorenus and Metal-Nose, shaking his head coz he knew what was coming. Yep! Pullo had common sense!

Or when he scooped up Vorena the Younger and took her from the slave camp. My hero!

Or when he looked up at the stars, wondering what they were and how far away. Sooo bloody sweet!

Or when he crushed a roach for Vorenus and his family, and for Eirene, while waiting in prison. He broke my heart!

Or when he nipped Gaia's ear at the end of the Kitchen Table scene. Nuff said!

Or when, in his agony and grief, he listened to Eirene as she described how she wanted to be buried. Dear Lord what an actor!

Oh. There were other characters in that show, I think. Having a bit of trouble remembering them, though. :-p

Host Tim- You are invited to watch all the episodes with us-we are serving depraved oysters, dormice, lots of Vino, and of course little songbirds. The savory stew was a little off so we fed it to all enemies of Rome! Hail Pullo, Hail Vorenus, Hail Marc Antony and Hail Caesar! (You guys can hail all the women!)B-)l

It's on HBO 2 East-Gawd, I can use a little time staring at sparkling blue eyes, a wicked grin, and dirty pictures on the wall of my jail cell! (Obviously a self portrait, exclusively created by Ray Stevenson for the RayVers!!) Episode one is on 3/29 . Now life is worth living again!!!Yummy!!!!

I was one of those who cancelled HBO and Cinemax (affiliate of HBO) when they cancelled Rome sooooo I shall not be watching the re-airs on HBO. But I will watch along on my DVD's.

Perhaps the re-airs are the segway to the rumored Rome movie in the works?????

I look forward to new fans and posters on the board!!!!

Don't forget to vote for rome....
