Dear all, I am very happy to have found all you because we share the same passion for the sex and the city!!!! I love this serie and I don't accept the idea that it got to the end, I know there will be the movie but this will be the end. Can we make something about it? HBo can not make a second part of this serie? We love it!! Please think about it!! Mabel

Dear fans, Well, it seems like several of us are trying to write papers on Sex and the City..shows you what a wonderful show it is. I too need some help with my master's thesis on SATC and my questions are similar to those previously posted, but I'll post them here and you can either write your answers here or send them to me via email - satcgirl34@googlemail.com. Basically, I know why I watch (and love) SATC but I want some other perspectives for my research. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance. Questions: What are your favorite moments? Why? Who are your favorite characters? Why? What would you change in the show if you could? Why? In what ways do you / don't you identify with the show? Why? Thanks again!!

This is in general the questions i'm asking. I would be so gratefeul to you to help me. Thank you all. This is my email adresse:rosyetude@hotmail.com

Hi fellow SATC fans, I'm new to this site, I had been here before but never really registered to converse here. So, I'm sure you're all just as excited for the movie in May as I am. I have to admit that I LOVED the fact that Kim kept resisting the film for as long as she did. I was passionately dead set against the project. Like many of you, I am a huge mega-fan and know more about this show than anything else in pop culture. But I have never been so pleased with a series finale to any show as I was with this one. It was pure poetry, the sweetest, purest, finest, honorable closure to a superb run. It would be like asking to realign the stars. So, I did not want to risk a new less than perfect ending as the series finale so eloquently had acheived. Believe me, I cried many times about the conclusion to our beloved show. I did want to see the girls again alive and back in action but I was thinking unselfishly, I chose not to want to see a new installment and be dissappointed by a new Hollywood studio ending. Plus, how could a movie on the big screen work? The formula for a film is very precise these days, studios don't wanna make a movie for us to enjoy and celebrate the show, they're there to make money. As time went on, my restraint grew thin and I heard MPK was on board and Kim had signed and it was a green light. So, I suppose I have to trust the writers to do us all justice and leave us again with a great ending and one where we feel we won't torture ourselves too much when its over. I'm sure they will honor our dedication as they had done before like when Carrie said to the ladies at the going-away dinner before she left to Paris, that she wondered "what if I had never met you?" I believe that was not only aimed at the characters but for all of us fans as well. My head ran with warm and joyous memories and I began to tear up with them. Also, the ending where Carrie talks about relationships and ultimitely points out the most important one "is the one you have with yourself", that was a nod for us to go on and that they're gonna be fine and we can take the girls, the show, the LOVE with us. "You've Got The Love I need to see me through"... as the ending song says left me with great sense of peace and contentment because I did take the love and I was gonna be ok. Let's face it, this was not a television show, this was bigger, this was vibrant forces with a soul, it was family that lived and travelled in our veins and in our hearts. Patricia Field said it best, "they pushed television to whole new level." And they really did, no other program carved a corner and created a platform of this nature that was interesting, creative, charming, chic, provocative, brilliant, sexy, thriving, poignant, warm, and very funny. I'm dying to see the film, I miss my girls. I miss my Carrie. I now realize, no matter what ending they do, it dooesn't matter because there really is no ending. These women are loved and adored by us and if you have that toward someone and really know and feel it then that's when its not so hard to let them go because they will always be alive... in mind, body, soul, and in our hearts. Thank you for letting me say my peace. I look forward to conversing with all of you on this fan board. VIVA LA CARRIE!

Sond at the end of episode 8

I'm rewatching the entire series and loving it! There is a song at the end of the episode called "Three is a crowd" It's episode 6 iof Season 1 I love that song! it reminds me a little of Billie Holiday, but I don't think it's her, at least it doesn't sound like her. But I could be wrong. It's at the very end during the last scene where Big and Carrie have a dicussion about his ex wife out in the street at night and then they make up and kiss. Anyone know this song? What's it called and who's signing it?
