I went to Brown when JFK Jr. was a student there. Believe me, I saw some of the chicks he hooked up with. A mixed bag if I ever saw one. The fact that some good looking guy hooked up with SJP does not validate her looks. She was voted the most unsexy woman by Maxim. The survey was overwhelmingly unanimous. SJP has been on magazine covers because she represents the subconscious plain jane in every woman. When a woman sees SJP on Vogue, they think "that could be me." If I was the CEO of Louis Vutton, I would put SJP on the cover of their catalogue because most women find her appealing because most think they could be like her or better. That is her true appeal to the feminine sex. She is sort of the ugly friend you can hang out with so that standing next to her, you are the one that looks good.

Love, love, love those women with a unique look, and SJP is one of them. The Vogue layout was exquisite, with several photos enhancing her lovely angular features. If the dialogue is sassy, the four women of the wonderful series in the film present .... the rest is cream cheese icing -- The place for Granny's and Tranny's

SJ also dated John Kennedy Jr., a man of great good looks. Apparently there is much about her that appeals to famous and handsome men. Why has she been featured in Vogue several times if she isn't considered a classic beauty? Some women who are considered beautiful have looks that are different, case in point, Sophia Loren. -- Edited by beachy at 05/31/2008 3:53 PM PDT

Sarah Jessica Parker a Classic Beauty? Get your eyes checked. As for her dating Johnny Depp, that doesn't mean squat. Mr. Depp dated her during his drug afflicted days. Perhaps the drugs impaired his judgment a bit. The reason why women defend Ms. Parker's "beauty" is because deep down they know she is fugly and can boast internally that "I am prettier than her" thus I can live the Carrie Bradshaw life. In real life, someone like Ms. Parker could not land a Mr. Big and please Matthew Broderick is no Big prize, the guy has a propensity for being with butterfaces (read: his ex from the Dirty Dancing movie). But women live vicariously through a caricuture on a show. Very pathetic indeed. FYI, I saw the latest Indiana Jones movie and was not impressed either.

I think SJP is a classic beauty. Her being voted unsexy I think is not an opinion shared by all - she has been involved with some of the most sexy men in Hollywood, Johnny Depp being one of them...not a man known to date ugly women! Anyway, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder! -- ********* Host_Ginna HBO Forums Host

You can put a designer dress on her and accesorize her with Louis Vutton and Monolo Blahniks shoes but Ms. Parker is still, as her French lover would say, a "chevalle." Now that she is old, why must Hollywood still insist on cramming down our throats that Ms. Parker is hot? Memo to Hollywood: Ms. Parker was never hot, not even when she was young. She was recently voted the most unsexy woman and has one of the sorest butterfaces I have seen. If I want to watch a movie about horses, I will stick to Seabiscuit and pass on SATC: The Movie.

I think Carrie gets pregnant & miscarries - that's who dies

Gosh it is everywhere about the possibility of "Big" dieing. I personally think what's going to happen is Carrie gets pregnant which would explain the leisurely "wanna get married" proposal from Big and then she miscarries the baby. Either that or Stanford. I can't see them killing off a major character & she simply isn't close enough to the supporting characters for their death to "devastate" her. Of course they could just be stirring up discussions as a publicity stunt and no one dies at all. No matter what it is going to be really nice to see them all together again. Great chemistry! Beth

Hi Angel- I totally agree with you about Miranda being Carrie's best friend. However, Miranda was judgemental about Carrie and her relationships and in real life that is how bff's are to each other. I always said, if you like a guy you have to run them by your bff first or it won't work. Personally, I think this is why I loved the show so much is because I only have one really good girlfriend that I talk to almost daily and sometimes I can't talk to her about the rough stuff because she just shuts down on me. She wants to argue and hang up on me for not agreeing with her. However, this is where our true friendship comes in because I love her to death anyway. Other than her, I don't have any other friends that are woman. She lives 1000 miles away too but we don't skip a beat. I yearn for g/f's to have cocktails with and shop with and just hang out. I think woman in general are very tough on each other and this is one reason this show succeeded so much is that they were all so different but somehow got around that. I'm very excited about seeing the movie tonight. I've heard great things so far.

I'm so very excited tot see this film. When the show ended, I felt like I had lost my best friends. Now, they are back. It's like seeing people you love and haven't seen in a very long time. I'm elated! Thank you Thank you for doing the movie! My fiance' woke me up this morning and says, "you know what day it is?" I said, "yes, it's Friday" and he says, "you know what other day this is?" I said, "yes, SATC is out today" Then he told me that he was going to take "his baby" out to see the movie tonight. He called a bit ago and already got the tickets for the 8pm showing. I'm so excited I can hardly work today. The Girls are back! Yeah!

Yeah! We'll be lucky not to get crushed by the wild and crazy crowd. Whatta way to go! I bet there will be fans arriving in limos all drssed up like Carrie, Samantha, Big, etc. They'll be holding Cosmos and wearing Manolo Blahniks. I'll leave my Manolos at home and go dressed as Aidan... Taking the dog with me and wearing a tool belt. Hope you get to see it soon. It'll be fantastic in any theater.
