Save the car but bruise yourself! That reminds me of being on vacation once, driving on I95 down south somewhere. There was a tornado warning, and it was seen headed toward our position. My gram was with us, it was her car, and I was driving. The radio had instructed drivers to get out of their vehicles and lay flat in a ditch. Gram said no way, save the car, put the car in the ditch LOL

Hail can be really bad for sure! I live in a part of the country where you don't see alot of hail normally, and had been living here for 10 years before I saw my first hailstorm. The hail I saw wasn't quite quarter sized, I'd say more like nickel sized, but it came down hard and fast! Stupid as I am, I went outside to move my car to my covered parking spot, because I was afraid my windshield would get blown out. Ended up with some bruises on my arms for going out in that! Not sure what was going through my head that day! LOL

Hail can be BAD! Quarters? Dang! I hope no one was hurt. We had a bad hail storm about a month ago, I was stuck driving in it. It was the weirdest thing, it came out of nowhere. It scared me it was so loud!

Everything's alright now but I had to call my landlord~
he had to come over and take a look at my living room ceiling~ There was a patch of paint that had a "bluge in it"
in afew spots and my living room rug was wet from the terrace door!
I think there's something wrong with the roof~thought the landlord says he replaced it before I moved in!
There were hail stones all over my front yard this morning,
they were the size of quarters!

 Holy cow! Everything ok? How big was the hail?
I live in the southern part of the country and we're just broiling right now, it sucks! We *might* get rain tomorrow and if we do, I will be counting my blessings! Might have to go out and do a rain dance or something to improve our chances! lolol
