I'm so relieved I didn't have to see Carrie date anyone else. That would've been awful.

The book reminds me of all the little things I loved about the movie. One of the things that wasn't in the book was one of the funniest moments in the movie when Samantha was laying on the counter waiting for Smith on Valentine's Day wearing only sushi.... can't believe that she would even attempt to make food. They showed Smith ducking behind the refrigerator door when she threw it at him, but it was funnier watching her get more and more impatient and finally pissed off. Another thing, was I the only one who didn't care for Carrie's newly remodeled apartment? It didn't look like a place Carrie would live in (although I really like the blue color scheme).... Lastly, I loved Lily's little cupcake purse (so cute!); even if she put Carrie's cell phone in it and messed things up.

It would have sent me over the edge to see some one else step in for even a brief moment.. Can't wait for the DVD!

Oh and MPK described that his original script had to be trimmed down, it was too long. One of the storylines was when Carrie and Big broke up she started dating a man she called Mr. Bigger, based on Ron Perlman. I'm glad they cut that out. So glad.

I was in my local WalMart yesterday and they didn't have it anymore, so either they sold them all or they brought in something to take its place. It was there for over a month--I got mine on Amazon.com if you can't get it at WalMart. I have to agree about the book--it is FANTASTIC! It reads like a visual storybook, telling the plot of the movie with lots of large photos and if you liked the scenes in the closet, there are at least 4 of them! Also includes a large section on fashion (every single outfit that each character wore in the film!), a short recap of each season of the tv show, and every location in the city where filming was done. There's alot more so go out and get it!!!!!!
