Is there a reason why Carrie is carrying a cell phone held together by silver tape??

I agree the tape was a GREAT detail into Carrie's character. I remember that she didnt have a phone for the longest... and the tape was just a symbol that her concerns do not lie with the phone.. I thought it was a great detail.

I thought it was totally Carrie! She's not one to fuss with having the best or newest technology, so if it cracked or broke, she just fixed it the best she could. I liked that small detail.

I noticed this too and my friend didn't...and she had seen an earlier movie already today. This was the phone that Carrie had at the end of the show and I guess she couldn't part with it and just kept putting tape on it to keep it together. She's always been technology phobic.

LOL..I noticed that too. My best friend leaned over and was like wtf?? LOL I have no idea why she has that on her phone.
