What is 'bobaganoosh'? Carrie's friend is eating something at the Moraccan restaurant and she's telling the guy next to her 'Have you tried the bobaganoosh?' and I don't know what the hell that is?! I'm a foodie, but I'm stumped

FYI: posting in "all caps" is considered shouting, and some people will get upset with you. Doesn't bother me, but just so you know.

YES JUST LIKE HUMMUS. ITS A PASTE OF EGGPLANT GARLIC, OLIVE OIL, LEMON. YES GOOGLE FOR THE RECIPE . I'M SURE YOU'LL FIND IT EASILY. IT'S PRETTY TASTY.

Lsimon1990: try going to the "FoodNetwork" or Gourmet magazine for the recipe for "Bobaganoosh" It's roasted garlic, roasted eggplant and chickpeas made into a paste with lots of olive oil & lemons.

It's a kind of dip similar to hummus, only made with eggplant. You can google it, even if you spell it wrong, and get the recipe. (Not sure how to spell it myself!)
