Sex And The City 2

Looking forward to a sequel, Sex and the City Tribute Song

I wrote this song because I too am originally from New york, then my friend said let's make a video!

So this is for all you New York Girls! I hope you enjoy it.

Love,
Deedee

PS: I didn't intend my comments to be critical, but more of an honest analysis. It's very good overall; I just think for a movie, shorter portions of it would work better. It's harder to use longer songs in a soundtrack unless there is a montage, as in the New Year's Eve scenes in the first movie.

The video editing was very well done.

Watched it on You Tube:

I like the overall concept. I think edited down to some excerpts, would be appropriate for a movie soundtrack.

But it seems a little long, repetitive and I don't understand how some of the lyrics relate to the series and movie we have seen so far.

Vocals could be a little stronger, but I think the basic motif of "Take the girl out of NYC, but can't take NYC out of the girl" is a really good concept for a soundtrack. Might even be a good structure for a cinematic theme throughout the movie, not just during one scene.
