I honestly don't understand what people were expecting with this movie......some of you were looking for entirely too much. I mean why would it be necessary for them to focus on money TidalWaves. It is not about money in any way shape or form. It is about 4 woman, 4 friends facing, life, love and friendship. That is exactly what you get from the movie.
I found the movie to be a perfect revisit to the series. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I saw it on opening night with a group of girlfriends and plan to go back and see it this weekend with a another group of gal pals. It is absolutely enjoyable and a perfect chick flick. I will have to admit it is a chick flick in every since of the word but so was the show.
If you were a SATC fan go see the movie you will enjoy it. Don't go expecting that some how these CHARACTERS are supposed to some how turn into real life people and the focus of the movie is on unnecessary realities or immaterial issues.
The characters have grown, their lives have progressed yet their friendship is the same. Everything you would expect from a SATC episode is what you can expect from the movie.
I give it an A + It is FAB-U-LOUS! So if you haven't seen it go and enjoy it. Watch the movie and have a cosmo with a group of your favorite gal pals.

I am SUCH a fan, and I agree that the movie is for the SATC fan. It seemed to have just wrapped up where the series just stopped. It gave you an update. I expected a stronger storyline. I think Charlotte's character had the best script. Miranda was a lil bitchier than normal.. but I think she seemed that way because everyone else was happy. Samantha was hilarious... I thought, dead on.. and Smith was different, but I think it was because he's older. He's older, successful, etc, so I thought that was appropriate. Carrie, looked good, a lil thin but good. I didnt like the bird in her veil... I didnt like their dresses, well I should say not for THAT wedding. I didnt like the tie in between Miranda's failing marriage and Carrie's failed wedding... Mr. Big looked good... The music was great. I thought it was good, I cant possibly see them making anymore... there would be nothing else to say.

In this particular scene I actually did both cried and laughed...I was crying when Carrie was in the Limo and when she came out of the car I thought that she was going to hug him ...but then it caught me off guard when she started bitting him up with the flowers so I started to laugh with still fresh tears rolling down ... it was GREAT!!!

I actually thought that scene was funny. Unintentionally I guess. The bouquet was smashing and shedding all over the street. It looked like one of those old comedy routines or a snl skit. Char's little teeter back to the car was funny too after she had her say. Big had it coming to him. LOL

YES YES YES, I so felt this way. The emotions felt so real in that scene.

this is for entertainment purpose, we all know it's not real. and I don't think they ever claimed to be so if they want to go off the wall, then who's to stop them? It's not like they based it around anyones real personal life...just characters...
