The best characters to have lunch with? Ruth, but only if Belinda (Kathy Bates) comes along for the ride. I love Ruth the best of all the characters because she is the most decent of them all, but she's no fun by herself. Maybe we could throw Sara into the lunch date. The worst lunch date? Russel hands down. He's an ugly, stalker like psycho and I pity poor Claire for ever having been involved with his sorry ass. Edie is number two on the most obnoxious character list.

Although I LOVE David (yse, I do) I still figure my favourite character to lunch with would be Nate. He is NOT the kind of guy I would go for under any other circs but he would be good for lunch time alcohol, post prandial spliff, giggling over trash tv....yeah, Nate. But I would not go to bed with him. Not even if he begged

>Also, does anyone know the song they play at the very end of that episode? I've been trying to look for that, but have had no luck. Edge29: Here are the music credits for "Everyone Leaves" - go to the Episode Guide, choose the season and episode, and on the right of the synopsis is a link to the music credits for that episode. http://www.hbo.com/sixfeetunder/episode/music/episode36.shtml If those don't fit the scene you're talking about, it was probably part of the uncredited score. >And to all the ex-SFU fans who unsubscribed to HBO because of the "That's My Dog" episode, its your loss, you are missing the most brilliant show on Television. They probably wimped out so they could keep watching the other HBO shows.

Charecter to Lunch: My pick would be Margaret Chenoweth. She's so nutty and would have tons of gossip. Worst lunch: George and Olivier. George would bore me with "Rock Talk" and Olivier would talk about how he's "above everything" in the world.

I am sure you guys have discussed the promo for the show 100 times..but something struck me as odd about when I saw it again last night. We see Keith and David holding hands, Rico and Vanessa and Ruth and George together but we see Nate and Brenda in their own cars alone. Is this a clue that they may night end up "happily ever after"? I really am hoping they can work it out..they just seem IMO to belong together.

This is kind of off topic, but I am re watching season 3 in preparation for the season 4 marathon this wknd (Canadian TV) and the season premiere on Monday. After knowing what happens in season 4, Season 3 is very touching. I just finished watching "Everyone leaves" when Brenda leaves Billy's apartment, and when Lisa leaves for her sisters. It is a very touching episode to see Ruth and Claire having that quality time, a relationship the directors have been trying to build since the beginning. Also, does anyone know the song they play at the very end of that episode? I've been trying to look for that, but have had no luck. And to all the ex-SFU fans who unsubscribed to HBO because of the "That's My Dog" episode, its your loss, you are missing the most brilliant show on Television.

which of the six feet characters would you would you like to take to lunch? and why? petexm, hands down for me would be Claire. I fell in HBO-love with her from day one. She really portrays the angst filled young woman trying to find her own. I also think she has gotten better looking over the years... the new promo and some of the premiere pix, she is looking even better. I have never really been a redhead fan (dated one a long time ago), but for Lauren, I'd make an exception. p.s. glad you are back and hope all is settling down for you and the family -- jcv123 'Everything. Everyone. Everywhere... Ends.' ...and there is a reason for the 'Spell Check' button...

Anyone know when the new Six Feet Under book comes out??? I went to Barnes and Noble the other day and asked about it and they said it wasn't out yet and that it was just sometime in June. So I went ahead and bought Better Living Through Death. I already finished it. It was so neat how detailed it was and the whole time I knew that the writers of the show had written all the letters and excerpts from the books and such but the actual writings themselves so seemed like the individual characters themselves. It was so cool.

But you can't sit there and tell me that you weren't going nuts when you saw Brenda and then realized DAvid was lying to her about why Ruth is mad at Claire....lol. I know I was. Brenda looked great btw.

I LOVE surprises...especially on this show. I posted a much longer response on this whole thing a couple of weeks ago, but basically I don't "do" spoilers. I think it's a lot more fun to wait and see what happens. Knowing what will happen ruins your "suspension of disbelief" IMHO. Even though I posted that yahoo! spoilers link I actually haven't seen any of the clips on there, other than the red carpet premire clip. I'll wait until the season starts, thank you very much. Although, I did break down and view the clip sent to me in the Eulogy today (hangs head in shame). -- "All we have is this moment, right here, right now.
