Good question, j. And it comes so sadly after the sentencing of the other sniper. This is nowhere NEAR that bad, but a teacher here(pre-kinder) decided to tell her class of four year olds there is no such thing as Santa Claus. They all went home in tears. AY! People.

Ah, yes, muddy ground and snow! A nice combination! On the way home from North Carolina , we stayed at a motel in Richmond VA. The next day we were all coughing and sick. I suspect the ventilation system of the motel. We are all OK now, anyway. <><> The first time I ever heard of a freeway shooter was just after the release of the Bonnie and Clyde movie , with Faye and Warren, in 1966. Someone on the Pennsylvania Turnpike shot up a car when passing , for no reason, apparently. It has been a shooting gallery out there ever since.<><> I thank all of you for the warm welcome back to our CP!! Jim.

iveatn: Nice to "see" you. Thanks for waving "hi" from afar. Makes me feel welcome here again. As for you, Miss Dia: Don't worry your purty head about the Columbus sniper. They've still not figured out what the heck is going on, but are investigating as we speak. I DO have some more pies to pick up for the holidays, but plan to be veeery careful. Peace & Love to all who reside here. xox, --Red

Hi all, Just a quick drop in to say Hi, I haven't been in in a few day. (Petunia samples JCV's healthy treats and sniffs flowers) It is supposed to be in the 30s here this weekend. I am happy about it, it is just difficult for the agriculture people. Take care.
