To the (maybe two) other people out there who have no plans for Saturday night, Sundance seems to be rerunning the National Anthem concert.

Luvzebra -- I know almost nothing about RAP and anything you could tell me to educate me would be appreciated. I saw Eminem on SNL maybe 5 years ago and it was just unlike anything I had ever seen. When this election is over, I am going to have a lot of time to become educated. I was setting my VCR at exact time you were.

Zeebie- Kelly is officially off the tour as of this afternoon. Jay Z sez Kelly can't handle Jay being more popular than him and is acting out. Whatever the truth is, Kelly's gone. You heard about one of Z's minions spraying Kelly with pepper spray on stage, right?

SHEE, we're never too old for something we like - are you hearing the horror stories following the JAYZ/R KELLY tour? (Tell me if I'm carrying my RAP interest a little too far for ya.) The best of both worlds are really clashing and it's the rapper that's acting like the business man - raising that money to buy Beyonce a diamond that will weigh her shoulder down. Sounds like R needs some medical attention. In St. Louis he walked off the stage in the middle of his set and said he was hungry. Went to McD's ate and then served people for 3 hours. What about the people that payed up to $100 to see him. R's music will always be in my music memory, however, I guess I'll have to settle for him on disc. Setting tape for EM, body feels like it might not make it til 11:30, looooong day. Just finished watching CARRIE.

Good afternoon, Dia. Just looking forward to Eminem tonight and trying not to get a migraine headache about the election. If you arrange a candlelight vigil, I am all for it. I was supposed to go to a Mothers for Kerry rally this afternoon, but I am getting so freaked I need to back off and read a good book or something. On some thread today did you say you know one of the Butthole Surfers? I -- of all people here -- loved Pepper -- loved the line about "goin' down the avalanche." It was a fun song to have on in the car. But every time you say something like that, I am more intimidated. So in your eyes it's wrong for a woman to abort a baby because she got pregnant via a rape. But it's ok for you to prevent a birth by using condoms, no?

Thanks for that Cheneystein article jyf. It was spot on and "fun" to read (as much as you can have fun around such a subject as an evil, phony, unecessary and botched war).
