Just watched the entire series on DVD, which we bought. This show changed my life, how I view death, and gave me tremendous peace with it all. Thanks to HBO for such a triumphant series, and to the cast and crew for making the characters seem so real I became invested in them. Peter Krause's commentary in which he stated "the one thing we all have in common is that we're all going to die" put everything in proper perspective for me. Now I approach every day with gratitude and a sense of relief, because this is all so transitory, and problems seem meaningless in the grand scale and scope of things. I never expected a TV show to change anything, but this one did. In a world filled with awful reality shows and drivel, it is wonderful to find a project that had such vision and passion. I am sorry it has gone off the air, but look forward to the new projects from all involved.
