Not recently.....am waiting for the damned box set....have you heard anything?.....figured it would be available by now with Christmas rapidly approaching..... Yeah, the Sil asthma thing kinda came outta nowhere....I think it was to illustrate just how helpless the crew could be without the big guy to steer the ship..... -- They troll therefore they ARE.....

Hey TT! In "Mayham" Sil expresses his reluctance/anxiety about boss position. When it first aired, I was surprised by such a late introduction of his asthma condition...you'd think that this detail would have been exploited dramatically earlier on. Are you having a chance to re-view the episodes?

Hi Editor! Like Tony said to Sil...."All due respect.....you got no idea what it's like to be #1"......or something close to that, anyway....lol

Gonza, read over the posts, I hope your wife is feeling better today (probably sore and may be skittish about driving right away after an accident), and please let her know my heart and prayers are with her, you, Gucci and your family.. Both you and your wife our such loving and caring humanitarians in both your careers and life, I believe angels are looking over you. Virtual hug to your family. It is one of those times that miles seperate friends that would offer to come over and help friends with their weekend activities (cleaning) around their house, and cook a meal so you both could just cherish your time alone together. I would offer to take care of Gucci, but I think the dog may be a lot bigger then me...lol..lol. Please cherish your moments together today. And always remember that material items can be replaced..but a loving human being such as your wife, cannot. Another virtual hug coming through. Everyone, I am leaving out of town shortly.. I will talk to all of you soon. Take care and virtual hugs to all. Talk soon! "We don't remember days, we remember moments" -- "To often we are so preoccupied with the destination, we forget the journey"

> Kelly, although you have 572 posts since you signed > on 9 days ago - where do you find the time??? I wouldn't presume to ask people about their frequency of posting, given your own track record of a zillion a day (as CiaoCinzano). It's the nature of the posts, not the number, and Kelly is a friend to many here. (If she posts often, some heiresses I know have the time.) Anyway, Tides, has your opinion of Chase changed at all by virtue of his recent interview statements?

Continuing the analysis of the final episde of The Sopranos we can see the elements of the Eastern and Western Philosophies that Mr David Chase is choosing to meditate upon : EASTERN perspective: Eastern philosophy propounds the way of Non-violence Tony Soprano rejects the way of Non-violence So Tony is no Gandhi And if he is no Gandhi then he must be a NEHRU-do well That is to say a Prodigal Son.........and we all know that at the end of that Parable what happens is that The Family slay the Fatted One (..stand up Mr T.) WESTERN perspective : The Family know that the Theory of Relative-ty rests on the ability of Time to change; as indeed it has recently for Tony Soprano whose crew have been slain by Phil's men.Mr David Chase is telling us that to restore order Tony is about to' get his clock cleaned'. The bus-like arrival-in and departing-from nature of life that Tony comments on in his recent session with Dr Melfi is Mr Chase's way of telegraphing to us that Tony is about to get his 'ticket clipped'. Finally, why choose 'HOLSTENS' ? This has been much speculated upon by many commentators on the net. They have argued that the Sopranos have run out of safe areas in their town and cannot meet safely at Tucci's or the Bada Bing or any other Italian-American establishmet..that this is their 'last area' ..a play on the words ' last aria'... i.e. this is to be the Sopranos' last aria. One can only close off by saying - 'aryan'-'area'-'aria'----lets call the whole thing off..............

"Tides, you'll have to tell me about what's happening in the movie biz one day. "Kelly, you're a newbie here, but THIS is where we discuss the most significant Sopranos details. It's been that way for the six plus months before you signed on." Tides, what has gotten into you since you've been gone? You used to welcome off topic subjects. Kelly has made friends here. Check our friends list. You used to welcome newcomers but now you call new people newbies. I just don't know what to say. Why all the hostility? No one likes to be dictated as to the direction the conversation will take here. You've been gone for quite a while. You were never like that with me but now you are with others? Why? Can't we all just get along? The posters here have changed to a more peaceful gang. We've been attacked recently several times on the board with unsubstantiated name calling and accusations that were totally unfounded and we've all had enough. It's more peaceful now. I was hoping for the girl we once knew--the funny girl who would make us laugh and I'm sorry if I didn't recall your other screen name the other day. I remember when you went after Wedrow when he posted a rather cutting remark about how his comment was far superior to any others that were posted and then lost in the flurry of posts one night. You asked him if he was appointed the new moderator of the board. We all thought you did a damn good job when you posted your response to him. But now I sense that you are angry at something or someone and I can't figure out why. I know you've been busy and have been away from the board and believe me we have discussed the ending & theories on this site and other sites a lot. I guess we are just a little burned out at the moment. I expected people to bring it up again since the DVDs of season 6b came out and it will come up again when the boxed set comes out. I don't know what else to say. So forgive me if I don't join in. The parallel universe thing just gives me a headache. lol. I just can't seem to wrap my head around the Kevin Finnerty coma connection. I guess I'm no match for DC's genius. I'm sure others here will gladly rehash it with you. I'm asking please don't take offense if I don't join in or some others don't because we have nothing new to contribute. o.k.? Thanks. We have been attempting to find another place to post to allow people who do want to continue to discuss the ending the privilege to do so without our interruption as it's only common courtesy. Just bear with us a little longer if you can. Thanks. Fleur -- "That's how we roll in the Shire" (Big Bang Theory)
