since you all seem to be experts...why did they cancel such a great show without making a full sixth season...this show could have gone on alot longer...granted im still only in the 3rd season catching up unless the actors were tired of it the sopranos should start up again

im here just wonderin if the sopranos is over forever or if its going to continue later. i have seasons 1-3 and im gettin the rest...im watchin them non stopif its over for good thats goona really blow

the fianle was terrible. i must say i don't think anyone would have liked seeing tony soprano killed. then they would have something else to disagree about. i wanted to see a show down between tony s. and johnny sack. not sure what the director was thinking? i didn't think chriptopher should have died either. that or him confess to tony what he really felt. anyhow, i think the director did a splendid job with the series but got lazy in the end....i just don't understand what went wrong at that end?

You're right about that. My sister was a big follower. She had a thing for the head vampire "Barnabus". I got a lot of free stuff from her during that period until the show ended. After that, Madonn!!! The grief was incessant. There was no peace.

Wasn't that tv show like a soap opera at night with vampires? I barely remember it and i definitely don't remember how it ended at all

My apologies. The Jennings family woes were part of an open plot on a television series (popular in the 70's) called "Dark Shadows".
It ended in a similar fashion as "The Sopranos". To this day, people who were fans of that show still cry the blues because there was never any closure.
I'm sure, however, that David Chase didn't know about this. But it shows how history can repeat itself.
