I feel embarrassed! I decided to check out the Moby song just in case; never know what he is going to do; and there was Annie Lennox singing. It was too late to take my question back but I am just glad it is available; one of the most memorable for me. Thank you for your answer!

In season 6 "join the club"; Tony is sitting looking out of the window at the light beacon. The song listed says it is Moby but it sounds like Annie Lennox to me; it also keeps playing as the credits role. Does anyone know what this song is? Thank you

Thank you very much for your input. Although the dave davies version resembles the sound more on the espisode than do "the kinks," it is still not a match. Itunes only has one dave davies "im not like everybody else" listed, and im sorry to say that it is not the one. If anyone else has anymore input on the subject, i would love to conquer this mystery.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!!! Im trying to find out the title, author, album, etc. of the song played in the end credits in the episode "cold cuts" in season five. The website says the song is by "the kinks" and is called "im not like everybody else." I must have downloaded 20 versions of what hbo claimed this song is but its not the same version as in the sopranos. Im looking for the specific version of the song that was played in the episode.....PLEASE HELP!

S. A. Version? The songs are often quite different due to licensing problems the Producers faced. You are correct in that everyone lists the song in question as "Cry" by Thonetta Davis. That is for the U. S. A. version. If you have the Import Version it may well be another song. Cheers, DannyOh
