That's NOT his real name, and he's not 100% Muslim.

Jesse Helms, the unabashed, nonsensical and unapologetic ultra-conservative from North Carolina, is gone, hopefully to a better place. His obnoxious and isolationist views long ago pegged him as out of touch with the American mainstream. The conniving right and the revisionists will attempt in the coming months and perhaps years to sanitize his rightwing approach and pass him off as a man who stood up for decent American values. While it was his legitimate right to be wrong in his assessment of politics, his views were disturbingly out of sync with truly decent and legitimate American values, and he cherished a bigoted view of the world. Adolph Hitler was not the only crazy one spawned by Mother Earth! The tragedy is that Helms has died, and he will be buried still mired in his blistering bog of prejudices.
