I am on the waiting list to get Verizon Fios--phone, tv, and internet.
I know their internet speed is tops.....but does anyone have any experience with their TV service?
How is their HD?
Is it really better than cable?

I completely understand where you're coming from.
I'm a Foodnetwork junkie...I can no longer watch the channel if it's not in HI DEF. It just seems so...flat.

Maybe I'm an elitist, but I'm not interested in watching a sporting event if it's not in HiDef anymore.
Paulie's line about "nose hairs lookin' like BX cables" .. I never realized.

It's a HUGE difference....I watch NCIS NY....Sometimes I feel like I'm sitting in the room with them.

I didn't take the TV...I took the $200 Best Buy gift card and threw a few more dollars into the pot and bought myself a 30 something inch Sony Bravia HD TV...I love it!

They had cable - but no fios or HD ...

dudes -- FYI - when I signed up for Fios (January) they were offering a free 19" flat lcd tv ... I WAS going to give it to my son for a B-day present (April) for his room ... Well it didn't come because they were out of stock due to demand! Well I have had two fed ex stickers on my door - they are trying to deliver the TV this week! YAY!!!
forgot all about it! Bonus!!!! If you buy it it will come

No you get a hard drive with the premire package. I've had my system over a year and a half and have yet to come close to filing it up, plus I rip songs on there
