I just saw the story on MSN
God, this is so sad. I cant believe it
He was one of our most brilliant social commentators -- His work became more and more socially conscious the last 10 years.
This hits harder than the death of Russert, if you ask me, because he had more reach. Satire often reaches more people than cold, hard facts
I shed a tear for George tonight -- one of our greatest comic geniuses ever.....Perhaps second only to Richard Pryor
George always said he did not believe in God or the afterlife.
But I still hope his spirit is in a safe place, and that he is at peace.
RIP, George. Your comic genius lives on, forever

Cocaine causes the heart to race and is probably THE worst drug you can take that will have such an effect. It does serious damage to the heart muscle. I knew of several people who dropped dead even years after they stopped abusing it. and I'm talking people in their 20s and 30s.
but again, being 71 didn't help, either.
I'm doing good these days, ron. thanks for asking! I'm on vaca this week outlaws visiting from Florida and lil man graduates kindergarten Friday but I'll hit you up on email ASAP.

so the first time you saw it you were straight, but not the second and third?

But when you weren't stones, you were probably remembering the times you were....so that counts as well.
I never did get into the RH thing either.....but I can see why people did.
the first time I saw it I was in my 20's and totally straight But by then, the whole RH scene was winding down....the theater was almost empty....in fact, they stopped showing it a few weeks after I went (after 10 years of Saturday midnight shows).

It started in the mid 70's and the 1st time I saw it I was 12 and continued to see it until I was 20 ish LOL

really goom? I loved it from the 1st time. Not sure why as I hate musicals and Sci-Fi, but I did and still do. Its great to get drunk and dance to with friends not alone.
