one less than bavaro, but more than bavaro in the same amount of giants seasons.

well, if bavaro is the gold standard for giants TEs and shockey's numbers are better, i don't think that's overpaid or underperforming.

look, i've said it a number of times now. if the giants think they're better off without him based on him being a distraction, i'm okay with it. they certainly didn't get rid of him for underperforming.

And now.... I must poll the experts:

Alabama at Florida.

Mizzou at Oklahoma.

I'm leaning towards Florida, even though their best receiver, Percy Harvin, may be out. Too much offense.

I'm also leaning heavily towards OU, especially after Missouri's last game. Pee-yew.

Nino -- I don't think LT is finished. I think he's terribly frustrated right now. I think the play calling sucks, for starters. They rarely throw to LT out of the backfield anymore. The O-line prefers pass blocking to run blocking. Plus, I still don't think he's 100%. I also think he's down on Rivers, for a few reasons. I don't want to say LT is pouting, but I can't think of a better word at the moment. He's never been a "rah-rah" type of leader, but I hear he's staying more and more to himself lately. It appears that everyone on the team is very unmotivated currently, and all of this tells me the coach ain't coaching.

On the radio the other day LT said his "window is closing." I know he wants to go to a SB very badly; he'll continue to run for a few more years, at least.

I'm surprised since you're such a "value" guy, that you like the overpaid and underperforming Shockey so much.

When was the last time Boss stamped his feet, made all kinds of "boo-boo" faces, or anything close to showing up his QB after a bad pass?

i didn't say THAT was putting words in my mouth. when pressed on the matter however, i said the position would be downgraded. don't you have anything else to do?

like i said, if you think he's as good or better than shockey, we'll just disagree. frankly, i don't think it's close. i guess, by your reasoning jacobs is better than tiki, tuck is better than strahan, etc.

it's all good.

The headline says;

The Giants Will MISS Shockey After Trade To The Saints

And you agree with the sentiment.

Why is it "putting words in your mouth"?

Except for the first two games when did Boss even go two games without a catch, never mind three. You're right we better drop the subject.
