If you want to buy the first season on DVD a web article said that TMYLM DVD Release Date will be February 12, 2008.

I have been one of the biggest critics of this show. In fact, I disliked everything about episodes 1-8. Then there was 9, and having just watched 10, all I can say is ... wow. The show took a dramatic shift with 9, changing the show from shit to drama. I won't comment on 10 except to say ... you'll be impressed; impressed with the stories, impressed with the acting, and simply impressed.
Can't wait to hear thoughts after you watch 10 - by the way, I watched it On Demand - never knew you could watch unaired episodes.

The actress that plays as Carolyn's boss' name is Rosalind Chao. She played as Keiko O'Brian on Star Trek the Next Generation (married to Miles O'Brian who handled the transporter). She also played in the movie version of The Joy Luck Club and various other roles over the years.

I went to a counselor only once, back in college, upon my return from my junior year abroad in Paris. I was suffering from reverse culture shock, depression, and basic philosophical growing pains of a 21-year-old, and in my few weeks of "therapy", all I discovered is that therapists basically ask you questions to force you to solve your own problems. They aren't going to sit there and answer every one of your questions and tell you exactly what you should and shouldn't do with your life. All they really do is ask questions...I guess it's a Socratic form of therapy. I think that Dr. May actually offers them more "advice" and suggestions as opposed to just asking them what they think than most therapists would.

The actress who plays Carolyn's boss is Rosalind Chao. She played Rose in The Joy Luck Club (her character was married to Andrew McCarthy's). I don't know why she is not credited in this series.

Yeah, that's what I don't get. They've already established that Dave's "lost & confused". I mean, this isn't some new revelation, so what was May talking about? It was terrible advice from the get-go, maybe she isn't that good of a therapist.
I also didn't understand why she was "stumped" by what Dave asked her, about the payoff. Wouldn't this be a rather standard question by now?

May is just the worst psychologist ever. There is something to be said of a psychologist who didnt want to have kids with her lover because she was jealous of sharing him. She doesnt give any advise but only multiple choice answers which defeats the purpose of going to a psychologist for guidance. Dave is a prick, I finally figured him out. He 's caught up in his own self contained fantasy which is to avoid conflict at all costs. The guy has no passion for anything but, would rather block out the world and live in his own world. The fact that Katie wanted to get a job to get away from the Monotony that dave created for her made a disruption to Dave's conflict free life.
As for Caroline, she pretty much used pavlik as a sperm Doner and a provider and that's all she ever wanted him as. She put her fantasy of being a mother to a healthy child from Pavlik's gene pool in front of having pavlik as a life long companian.Pavlik attempted to rekindle their relationshp multiple times by asking her out to lunch and showing her passion in bed but, she resisted and thats the straw that broke the camel's back. As soon as Pavlik wanted to leave caroline sprung the pregnancy news on him and forced him to stay. At this point Pavlik had enough, he now sees Caroline for what she is.
Jaimie I could relly care less about. She just needs to grow up and date mature professional guys rather then these blue collar grungy over grown teenagers. She's 27 and she acts like she's still 17. She's still hung up on Hugo and is comparing Nick to him sexually. She's on the rebound and isnt ready for him.

OK...I am one of those who can't wait till Christmas, HAD to find out what the sex of our 3 children were....I do have HBO on demand but episode 10 isn't on ours yet!!!!!!!!
Please do tell what happens!!!!!! I am dying to know! I don't think I can wait until Sunday!
