Palek's "bomb" was a great way to end Episode #9... it seems all the relationships are entering a great dramatic downward spiral so that was an appropriate punctuation mark.
And talk about Katie putting on a new "face" -- literally. Great stuff.
And, by the way, no sex whatsoever. Here's our take on why... Enjoy!

I may be a hopeless romantic but I didn't see it coming with Palek and Carolyn...I stopped breathing when Carolyn was trying to "take in" what Palek was saying in the end...I think that is what I love most about this show...the poignancy and the ability to identify.
I wonder what will happen with Katie and Dave...I was shocked also, at his confession! I have a hard time understanding the no-sex thing...I wonder how many marriages do survive something so devastating - Sex doesn't have to eliminate intimacy but can a marriage survive without them???
