This show has been a learning experience for me, not about relationships however although there is always more to improve upon, no what is most interesting were the various disparate points of view on a show that is obviously so simple, direct, honest, sensual, well acted, and bold.

This real time view of 4 couples inside and out has caused such a stir and I am truly surprised. Here is an exploration of people struggling to stay together instead of the usual fare of cheating and splitting and that to me is incredibly bold.

It's good to see people finally reacting to this show in a way which reflects what it really is: a soap opera.

Funny. I've never seen Ghostofbilly at the JFC site. Someone with good taste doesn't necessarily have to be a JFC fan. Just like having good taste and enjoying TMYLM aren't mutually exclusive, just suspect.

I've enjoyed how unbelievably annoying the Jamie storyline is... and I appreciate that when we leave she and Hugo at the end of the season, they're not really married yet... maybe something sane will occur before the witness comes in.

I agree that May's storyline can be sort of superfluous while her presence is pivotal. It's kinda cool to see the odd behaviors and lives that even shrinks can have.

We've been enjoying hosting some Tell Me commentary and discussion. Feel free to join us if you like:

After watching the final episode, I couldn't help and wonder what would happen with each individual couple, with the exception of May. I really don't pay much attention to her and her situations outside of the office; however, I do agree that it's important to continue to show her and her personal life to let the audience know that she too, has issues. Jamie and Hugo, their whole shotgun wedding, I give that less than a year. I was very excited how they ended Palek and Carolyn, unfortuately, the miscarriage will hurt their relationship. Maybe they are meant to be one of those couples that don't have kids, after mingling with that one couple with three kids.. that might be all they need to realize that they both aren't build to handle the stress that children bring. Dave and Katie... Dave and Katie, Oh My God, I could'nt believe that they finally were able to be together. These two made that scene their own; sexuality and all leaked out of my TV set. I cannot wait for the second season of this show. I can help and stand back as each of the three couples show some sort of trait that I can relate to my marriage. That's what drew my attention to watch. Another great show in the makings of HBO.
