How beneficial would this be to any relationship?

Hi all! I just have a quick question to those who are more familiar to this show than I am. I am only begginning to watch it.

I was wondering how this can help any relationship out there. I was considering in watching it with my BF in hopes of us being able to see things happening in realistic couples and how they deal with their issues and fail at it as well, since me and him are both very inexperienced but doing well. I thought it could prove beneficial to us. I was just a little worried about the sex scenes. I want to watch it for the emotion and characters, not the sexual acts. So, whats everyones take on this? Should I watch it alone, or with my partner?

Hmm, Im not real sure gloow. I guess it would depend on you and your BF. My husband and I have watched it together before, though he didn't care for it much.

Btw, I wanted to extend a big welcome to the HBO forums! Glad to have you around here and we hope to see you around more often!
