Okay those that have seen it...what did you think? I totally didn't expect her to kill that guy. The sex part was hot but you almost felt bad for the girl since she seemed so immature like a little kid. And he was so drunk (supposedly). But still yeah he was pretty drop dead gorgeous in the whole movie. His hair,his eyes the jeans. I love it when his hair is a wild mess and wet or sweaty. That scene where he was typing (what was he typing anyway??) in his robe he looked incredible. And when he was crying in the truck after going to jail he sounded so real. And how sweet was it he stayed around to be the baby daddy. Anyway I thought it was a really good movie. How about you

Haven't been spending time on the boards until today when I got on to see what was new so I didn't even know you had sent an email. I guess I'm back to being the occasional lurker and not posting. Still will check things out occasionally to see what's happening and see how the auditions are going for the second season (my absolute favorite thread). I'm actually going to NYC in a couple of months to hang out with some friends, so if I'm lucky enuff to have a siting or better yet an encounter, will certainly share.
Anyway...I ended up giving my 2nd ADW to a friend...sorry.
I bought off of Amazon for only $5.00. I just got onto Amazon and while I don't see the source mine actually came from they have some others on there for around $6.00 and up. Sorry again that mine is gone, but I highly recommend because GB is truly delicious in it. Now that I know this, I would definitely pay more than I did just to see it.

I'm so glad these threads are working again. I got on last night and found no new posts for the day and thought "it's finally happened...everyone's in a GB coma and they can no longer think straight or type". I was worried until I read the HBO note about the spamming problem. I was relieved to know that you were all really OK and I was sure you'd be back.
Anyway...about ADW...I didn't think the movie was that great but I have always like Debra Winger as an actress. I usually like Barbara Hershey too but I thought she was a bitch in this movie.
And let's face it...every seen with Hot Stuff is worth watching 150 times even with the sound off. My favorite scene (besides the couch) is when he picks her up in the truck and then comes to her rescue later. That little half smile he does...
By the way the place I bought it from accidentally shipped me two...I got it so cheap that I just decided to keep the other one so if anyone is having trouble finding it to buy...I have a spare.

Wandaroo...oh nooo. I had to give my copy away. Seriously. I gave it to my friend. BUT, knowing that she'll give it back when I need it. I had one last viewing on Monday. It's now a "picture in my head."

I think I must have a taste for "pretentious garbage".
Mary Lamberts film fails on many levels but I gotta give her credit for trying something so non linear, unpredictable, surreal and blatantly erotic. I saw it when it first came out and many times thereafter. It is confusing if you are looking for beginning, middle end. It is druggy, and I approach it that way.
And oh, ya know, jus' sayin'..... it's the leeeetle things:
I like it when he sees EB and walks up to her and puts his thumb in her mouth, she sucks on it until it is good and wet, at which point he removes it and puts said thumb down her top to rub present nipple.
Thats erotic.
I love it when they are just standing looking lustily at one another in his siesta room and she reaches under her dress and takes off her panties and tosses them aside (won't be needing these) while they continue their conversation..
I love the way she puts that cigar in his mouth, rubbing it back and forth on his lips.
I love the way he says "meet me tomorrow"
I love the way he waves the flowers he brings to her under her chin.
Now that's entertainment.
Anyway, I think I also like knowing that he and EB fell madly in love on this movie set.... and he followed her here.......
