Interesting. I just wanted to know a lot more about Laura then the fact she fell in love with her Therapist. The show like many ones that depict therapists cross lines that are nor sound. Even Sophie knowing his daughter would have been a deal breaker for most therapists. And she did try to use it against him. It seemed like he did no intake and was suprised by this Despite all that it was brilliant. I mean if you are on 5 days a week and 4 out of 5 grip you it must be great. Thanks Thanks

It's not that it wasn't realistic, just not very sound. He's going thru a mid life crisis too and making a lot of mistakes. Shrinks have done and a lot worse

Sophie-She was so real and the sessions on track Her energy and raw honesty was brilliant and seeing her work through complex issues through and (youthful)innocent but angry state was fascinating I feel they overplayed the whole transference issue with Laura or that would have been much much better Laura was great and felt it got way beyond reality. Some of the Dialog was not realistic it was like she was counseling him more then vise versa. When she asked 'do you love me?" (or something like that) and he said "no" he Justified the question instead of saying the usual "why is that important" etc and never make it a discussion on the possibility since there was none It is not rare for a therapist to feel but....How handle it is another story He never explored the whole issue behind it with her Den

Hello. My favorite character after Paul of course is Laura. She has shown us a creapy life she had. But she is a passionated character. Her feelings for Paul and the electricity that runs between them...is the best in the serie.

My favorite (after Paul of course) was Sophie. The actress really brought life to the character and made her so real. Her acting was incredible.

I am desperately hoping that the woman who played Sophie gets an Emmy nomination. She is astounding. Next nod is to Gina. I love her, all warm and wise. Great acting on the part of Kate. She is fierce.

My favorite character aside from Paul is Sophie. While I like the Laura episodes best, due to the fantastic sexual tension that was typically present in each episode, But I loved Sophie's character and the actress was just phenomenal. -- Edited by TouchedByThPoet at 05/14/2008 7:04 PM PDT

Tim, Tim, please take your head out of the sand. PAUL PAUL PAUL! I've stumbled across Melissa George on On Demand in three movies I did not even know she was in: touristas, Amityville Horror, and 30 days of night. She was a blond in all of them. So, did she dye her hair just for Laura? I like her better with the dark hair. No, I don't know what she is doing now. Just stay away from Gabriel Bryne!
