Nice to see it in writing from HBO, signed and sealed. And refreshing to see something renewed because of its quality writing/acting,not because of ratings. It shows courage. Its probably the right choice to have two showrunners to ease the load because both Rodrigo Garcia (Season1) and Warren Leight (season 2) talked about how exhausting it was solo. And nice to see Gabriel Byrne there as an executive producer because that must give him some control over production and no-one knows the character better than he does. Also nice to see Hagai Levi there since he had the original vision for its approach to psychotherapy. Im hoping for a return of Diane Weist as Gina too.

This is the best news!!! Thank you HBO, I am glad that you think (like us,) that the show is worth a third season, in my opinion it's the best thing to come along in television in a long time. Special thanks to Gabriel Byrne who despite admitting that this is a tough road to hoe, loves it enough to commit to a third season even though his 2010 looks to be very busy. It would not be the same show without him, his acting (and reacting) is superb. Thank you Gabriel!

A BIG THANK YOU to HBO and Gabriel Byrne for making a new season of In Treatment. It is the best television series I have ever seen, and I have really strongly hoped that you would make a new season, and now you will. I have learned so much about human conditions through watching In Treatment, and to see Gabriel Byrne as Paul Weston is just so fascinating. He tell us so much with just his eyes, and his expressfull face and hands. He is just a great actor and perfect for the role as Paul Weston.

Thank you for bringing back a work of such quality. In Treatment is the best thing on television and I am certain that the scripts, acting and production values will be better than ever in season 3.

I would like to send a thank you message all the way from Norway. A lot of Norwegians love the show, and the amazing performances of Gabriel Byrne and the other actors, producers, writers and the rest of the crew from both IT1 and IT2. I am so glad that HBO and Gabriel Byrne decided to go ahead with a new season. Have been waited for some news about it for a long time, and wasn't disappointed. Best of luck with IT3 from a huge fan in Norway -- Edited by Diba at 10/24/2009 9:28 AM PDT
