Gabriel Byrne and Name: From: USA Met him: Outside Walter Kerr Theater, May 18 2000 Description: Let me start out by just telling everyone that Gabriel Byrne is the most amazing man in the world. I was flipping when I saw him! After the performance I went to the Backstage doors and I just waited out there for him to come out. I had to wait 45 minutes in the pouring rain ? Can we say devoted fan! So I?m waiting and waiting, and then Cherry Jones comes out and then a few older people came out, and I was still waiting. Then Liam Neeson came out, and I?m just like omg, you're so cool!!!! The guy at the door keeps looking out, he must have peeked out the door like 5 times ? meanwhile there is a car waiting at the door with the name "Tyrone Powers" on it...and I knew that was Gabe's car b/c he plays James Tyrone in the Play. All of a sudden Gabriel came out!!! He totally opened the door, so wide, and I was like OMG! Then I said "Excuse me Mr. Byrne...could I have your autograph, if it?s not too much trouble," and he's replied (in that accent) "Of course". He walked a few steps over to me, and I handed him a pen and the playbill, and he?s asked me "What?s your name darling" and told him Jasmine. He signed it *To Jasmine...Gabriel Byrne* and he told me "Thank you for waiting" and then I was like, you are my FAVORITE actor". He said thank you so much" and I was like "I really love you" and he smiled, and chuckled and was like "it was wonderful of you to wait? Then I asked him "Could I get a picture with you too?" and he said "surrrrreeeee, ... do you have a camera?" I told him I did ? and then I handed the camera to his car driver, and Gabe just put his arm around me, so I put my arm around him too  (I was in heaven!) And he took one pic, then Gabe was like "Take one more, just in case". Afterwards I told him "Thank you soooo much" and he?s like thank you, and he gave me this great handshake!!! I love him so much more, he is so much better looking in person, and his eyes stand out so much!!! I am still on cloud 9, and I?m never getting off!!! Haha, I?m definitely going to his play, A Moon for the Misbegotten, again ... I was like, wow, he must have been flattered, because I don?t think it?s every day that a teenager goes up to him and tells him how much she loves him!!! And that is my story of "Meeting Gabe".

Gabriel Byrne's Domain is the site. Nothing rough, just pictures (lots) articles, reviews and a board, As others here have noted, it is not really active anymore, but it's still great.

just google gabriel byrnes domain....there are several sections there, news, photos, interviews....if you still can't get in, let me know

Misspdx--thanks for posting this article. You all are so good at finding articles, pictures etc. I thought I was a pretty good googler, but I have nothin' on all of ya'!

ROFL. And I second...we all would love to see your pics with GB. I guess the only way I am going to get a pic with him is if I Photoshop myself next to him LOL.

Anyway, i recently came across this swooning NYT review of GB in "A Moon for the Misbegotten"
It is nice to be in love with somebody who is no t only good looking (lets just say drop dead beautiful) but who is also an artist at the top of his game:

I know.......it seems as if all his sites were much busier years ago, but this site has a message board which I post on frequently...only about 4 or so women left there, but they're great.

I have stumbled upon that site too. Most of the action?encounters on the site happened a few years ago. The site didn't appear to have been updated recently at all. But yes there are a lot of fans with gabriel shots.
They are probably lurkers now
BE BRAVE. SHOW YOURSELVES! I can't speak for rubyjcat, but most of us don't bite...... unless you get to close to Pmungles' prey.
