he's not totally naked, (crap!) but bare thighs, legs, shoulders.... there is a red sheet covering the good parts (crap!) ...but he does have some nice legs! (first time i've seen them... the only time, i think, come to think of it...)
it's a very sexy scene...

I heard they auditioned 25 women for that role!
And interesting.....hell yah
rubyj, this is not verbatim, i'd have to watch it again (which I might do over the weekend), but he (the director) talked about GB's "incredible talent" all through the narrative. He said there were places where dialogue wasn't necessary, because just a shot of GB's face "spoke" the lines... (and interestingly enough, the director of Stigmata said the same thing in his narrative). He said Gabriel was the smartest, most compelling person he'd ever had the pleasure of working with. That's what makes him so interesting... and the one line i do remember verbatim was "I think the reason he is so sexy is that he is so interesting". Most of this was voiced over the "sleeping with Satan scene", so it was great to watch, and listen... and btw, if you have the dvd, the special features of "Sleeping with Satan" shows him naked under the sheet for a loooong looooong time while they're talking about the special effects used in making that scene... ooooh oooh! That alone is worth the purchase of the dvd.
I can't WAIT until MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not to toot my own horn, but I'm so happy today... I walked, unassisted, for the first time since my accident in april! It is truly MY Independence Day! So now I'm ready to chase GB down, where ever I might find him!!

oooo...
he was so delicious in that movie! A week or so ago i watched it on dvd, with the director's narrative. He (the director) said there was no shortage of actresses wanting the role of the woman in the restaurant, as well as the roles of the "associate's" wife and daughter. On those roles, he said he told them "you understand you'd have to be NAKED?" To which the reply was always.... "no problem... it's Gabriel Byrne!"
The director also said that he thinks one of the reasons GB is so "sexy" is that he is so INTERESTING. If you have that dvd, watch it with the director's narrative on... he had some very complimentary things to say about our sweetie... all of which we already know, but i enjoyed hearing them, even from a MAN'S perspective!

But last night we're watching the movie, which apparently he never saw, and that scene came on, and he was like..."woa....I'm gonna kiss you goodnight like that everynight!".....lol.....I thought it was funny....him tyring to be like GB.....
