Well Gabriel Byrne, Hope Davis and Dianne Wiest all got nominated. We can only hope that this is good news for a season 3.....
It's too bad the show did not get nominated, but we'll take 3 of the actors, right?

Wooohooo Touched ...I seriously wish I was going too...LOL. I am getting goose bumps thinking about you going and meeting him again and then coming back to share..we want ALL the details, every single freeking second of it!! Ask him if he remembers the crazy tall lady with the bare shoulders and him trying to grab my pen looking like the guy from Kung Foo trying to grab the fly with his fingers.....heehee.
Touched I wish for you and all who go with you to have a real Gabe connection...and from what I hear from the past, he kinda connected with you already a little didn't he uh uh...a visit to Florida was on his radar I believe 
We will be waiting with bated breath, and yes he seems free of serious romantic attachments...so try not to swallow your tounge when he swaggers across the room smiling at you.
Why don't you give him copies of some of your writing, he would love it, put it in a folder and say "read this if you get a chance...it's not a script or anything, just something that might give you a laugh on your "grey indifferent days"

Yes, I didnt think I was going to be able to go but I was able to get someone to fill in for me here and have managed to swing yet another trek to the gala.
I am starting to get a little nervous!

I actually have a very long weekend next week and wanted to go (so an Italian girl with no links to the Irish community can go too, right?...a donation is a donation) but then another opportunity for that weekend arose that I had to take. Yes, another opportunity to meet Gabriel Byrne squashed, but it was my decision to squash this one.
Have fun if that is what you are doing. Hope you get to chat with him. It looks like he may be stag for this event. wink wink
