Here's an excerpt from an article that I read today...maybe sweet bud et al who get to NYC can practice it...good luck all. I'll be practicing soon... "Instead of just waiting outside the hotel, think of what they would be doing in their own hometown and chances are you might see them doing the same thing here," says Verner, who believes a specialty grocery store is also a good bet. "They'll go and pick up their special trail mix or energy bars or detox drinks or whatever. It's very common during the festival to see people in the Whole Foods at Hazelton Lanes or even just Starbucks in the morning. They're real people, right?" Verner doesn't advise approaching celebrities, and says it can be just as gratifying observing stars from afar in their so-called daily routine. "Don't be a real stalkerazzi, that's just so obvious. There are enough people that are doing that." Celebrity Etiquette If you happen to find yourself in the midst of a celebrity at a party or other social event, Lui has some timely advice. "I wouldn't obviously corner a celebrity in the bathroom, which happens all the time," says Lui. "I also wouldn't go up to the celebrity and think that they're going to fall in love with you." Lui says that if you must approach the celebrity don't monopolize their time. "(Someone) might feel this is their only opportunity to get up close and personal with someone like George Clooney so if that is the mindset then going up and politely saying, 'I enjoyed the movie' or, 'I've enjoyed your work' and politely asking for an autograph or a photograph -- quickly -- is the best way to do it," she says. And don't even think about passing along your headshot, screenplay, etc., hoping to get "discovered." "Have some shame," says Lui with a laugh.

That's a very cool article, Twomoons, though highly academic in my case unless GB comes to the UK for something.
