Ladies I've worked until the wee hours for several nights over the last week and just completed another video. It must be said, some of you may think this one as dangerous as the last. I've tried to capture some of his finest moments, passionate and beautiful moments from my favorite movie, as well as a few films that some of you may not have seen. I hope you enjoy, I will retire to think of the next project. Thanks Yan for doing this for those of us on this side of the world who weren't lucky enuff to get these extras on the DVD's sold stateside. (At least they weren't on the one I rented).
BTW the site is looking great. I was wandering around yesterday looking at the pictures and stuff. You and Stella should start a web site creating business.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you'll still find the Stigmata DVD somewhere. I bought my copy in Australia when I went two months ago, and saw loads of 'em on sale inside some DVD shop in NYC last month.
I'm going to be taking screencaps of the special features for the Byrneholics gallery anyway, so stay tuned, and you'll be seeing what calla was talking about soon enough.

You know, Ali, you might just be right about that...Amazon has gotten a whole lot of traffic from the IT Ladies...it sure has been my friend lately...so I kinda think that's what's going on.
I would buy the DVD if I knew for sure the extras included GB, but I'm gonna stick to my VHS of A Soldier's Tale since that's what I bought first. Found out the hard way when I bought Weapons of Mass Distraction that there were no extras, not even a director's commentary...boo hoo...the best tidbits come from hearing directors talk about GB and what it's like to work with him. Well, enjoy the movie and let us know your thoughts after you watch it.

Thanks guys...I just bought the VHS of Soldier's Tale really cheap on Amazon. (They wanted $40.00 for the DVD...ridiculous). I will just add it to my collection of GB VHS tapes. But what the heck...I get to see the movies as many times as I want and I don't think I've spent more than $20.00. (The VCR side of my DVD player better not conk out on me). I bought Siesta VHS a week ago for $2.00...still waiting for it to come. Everyone here gave it mixed reviews so I had to see it for myself.
It's funny 'cause when you by GB movies from Amazon it tells you what other people bought who just bought the same movie and it's always ADW, WahWah, Usual Suspects, etc. I always laugh and think it's the IT forum ladies who have bought these movies before me.
I'm holding off on Frankie Starlight...I can watch it on my computer thru Netflix.

A Soldier's Tale is worth buying cuz GB shows tons of humanity and sprinkles in some romance. As usual, he brilliantly portrays the agony of a man facing horrific choices in the midst of war. Plus, this is pre-Miller's Crossing, so GB is in his late 30s...always a treat for the eyes.

Soldiers Tale is quite good. I bought it on DVD ($$$) Netflix had a looooong wait. I haven't seen Frankie starlight since it came out years ago.... but based on Touched video I would buy it.

I think A soldier's Tale is worth it...maybe even Frankie. I was a little put off by the ending of Soldier's tale but other's liked it. He's only in half of Frankie but he has a pretty sweet part.
Yeah they are worth it...says me.

Touched...It's been a while since I had a fix and I was having withdrawals, so I just watched your latest video from your site. It was my first viewing and it was the shot in the arm I needed. I love that song with the scenes you used.
Of course now I have to see Frankie Starlight and A Soldier's Tale. Neither one is available right now from Netflix.
Anyone who has seen these 2 movies...are they worth buying?
