Its finally finished. I have been trying for some time to find a digital version of the worlds sexiest movie so that I could try my hand at making a video. After borrowing various DVD/VHS players and approaching many internet conversion companies with no success, I have given up on waiting for the digital version. Where there is a will, a strong and obsessed will, there is a way. I stood in front of my television/vcr and recorded this with my digital camera. I apologize for the video quality of my little movie but, you have to give me an A for effort and in spite of the grainy and blurry quality, he is still goddamn stunning. For all you girls who have not yet seen ADW, you may see this as a spoiler, then again, you might see it as an appetizer. Birdie Doozer would be proud. I hope you guys enjoy. click here -- TouchedByThPoet More madness and fiction from "Touched" at http://touchedbythpoet.googlepages.com/home2 -- Edited by TouchedByThPoet at 07/31/2008 7:34 PM PDT

I want a part of it too.... I guess the leading man needs an assistant, so I will try to apply for that position, again... Second time lucky, right Gabriel? I am all yours, and I think you need a strong woman to keep the other woman on a distance.... Psstt: they can be really wild you know

I am loving the sound of this musical. I would like to play the part of the lost tourist. The leading man could feel pity for me, and try to help me find my way. Sorry, Cardboard Box Lady, and Jealous Woman.....

OK Lozzie, is Saturday evening OK? After I come from The Phantom of the Opera, I will visit Lozzie, The Girl on the Bridge... We ask Andrew Lloyd Webber to put music to The Girl on the Bridge musical. Gabriel will be the leading man, and Lozzie the leading lady! I will be the jealous woman, hiding under the bridge... You can hear me screaming every night after 12 o'clock... Maybe Woody Allen could be sent to me, to take me to his shrink? Who would that be? -- Edited by Noraa at 11/04/2009 1:36 AM PST

Very well said, both of you, SB and Diba......I however, have managed to 'blend' my 'real' life and thread life, somewhat. It felt weird at first, mentioning my friends on here. I always would use the finger air quotes around the word, 'friend'. I don't do that anymore, however. I speak of the people on here as I do anyone in my life. They know of my friends on line, and, surprisingly, I didn't get as many eye-rolls as I thought I would have. Diba, never say never about meeting........if you would have asked me 2 years ago if I would travel great distances to meet people in person that I had met on-line, I would have answered with an absolute NO. That answer has changed, my friend. AND, I am glad.

Sweetbud; This was very well written, and I agree 100%. Even though my writing skills on the English language could have been better, I think you are absolutely right: One last thing. I really like the writing. I think people have a different persona "on paper" I like letting that person out and I love to write. I also love to write, but naturally I feel more comfortable writing in my own language. Have said that, I find that this is a great opportunity to learn more English, not only by watching tv or listen to the radio. My sons started to learn English in 1.Grade, and myself in 4.Grade. Its amendatory until they leave after 10.Grade. In 8.Grade most students choose a second language to learn, mostly German, French or Spanish. But back on the subject. Last week I tried to connect thread world and "real' life, I know, its weird, but I find myself doing exactly the same thing. And I think of you as my friends, even if I never have met you, and most likely never will, because of the distance between us. But I feel connected with you through our love for this great man called Gabriel Byrne, and for that I am grateful. I second that Sweetbud wrote; Have a great day! And night from my part of the world.

> SB, what a great personal story you shared with us! > Makes me all the more keen for our in-person meeting > g in December. > > And Lozzie, I hear ya on all counts. Wanted to get back to you Inspired and say that I am so excited to be meeting you and the other thread sisters in Dec. You know I believe the MoJo could jump start a dead woman! And thankful, I am, that I have been restored. Being a drama therapist, a counselor and an educator, the concept and practice of community is important to me. There is so much alienation and separateness in the world. I found this great quote that says it all by Dorothy Day, a hero of mine: "We have all known the long loneliness and we have learned the only solution is love and that love comes with community." I didn't realize, what with all my work being face to face, present time that community could also be found on line. But, I found it didn't I? We have something-- and like all communities and groups, it becomes something bigger than all its parts. Here on the threads, I've found support, humor, warmth, caring, challenges, great info, and smart women being silly, inappropriate and bat! All that from watching IT1 and falling hard and now all of you are a part of it. Last week I tried to connect thread world and "real' life, I was talking with a colleague about East Coast perceptions about West Coasters and I found myself saying, You know I have a friend in LA who was just talking to me about "winter cleaning" and we laughed and suddenly Lady L was in the real world. It felt good. But ultimately I don't care if I can't talk about it. You all will just be my private community and support system! One last thing. I really like the writing. I think people have a different persona "on paper" I like letting that person out and I love to write. Have a great day! -- Edited by sweetbud at 11/03/2009 9:08 AM PST

THANK YOU DIBA! I am so pleased to know you will forward my resume and references to Lozzie. As hostess and creative director behind these festivities, I am certain she has all kinds of delightful activities planned for Himself and the Ladies. I am only too happy to provide a therapeutic massage to relieve the kinks in your poor aching neck and back. I frequently need a neck brace and traction after a long session at the computer, it isn't pretty. I am applying for a work visa and passport as we speak. I remain your loyal servant, VirginiaRN

After all, that 's why I became a nurse in the first place. A regular Florence Nightingale, that's me! So...does this mean you are considering my application for the position???? I have excellent references, some I even wrote myself... My precious VirginiaRN. Of course I would like you to be my very own Florence Nightingale. I am sure you are very qualified for the job, even with your self-written references (I myself, always find those are the best ones!) I will highly recommend your services to Lozzie, who has the final saying, but I am sure you will pass with flying colors. So start filling your medical bag with whatever you think are needed, and try to get thru costumes without any problems. PS: I think I also need a massage, because all this time I spend in front of the computer is really killing my neck and back. So if you can fit that in to your busy schedule, I would be most grateful.

Hey Guys You will definitely need the services of a professional registered nurse. Allow me to apply for the position, here are my qualifications: 1. licence to practice in the USA/ could get a deferral for Europe if I start the paper work now 2. certified in CPR and ACLS (advanced life support) will bring the defibrillator, smelling salts and Valium in a spray can ( a nice citrus scent) 3. certified in therapeutic massage, sounds like MH will need one, maybe several. I'll just give him a bit of a rub down and put him right back in the game....I mean the tea party. What do you think??? Please let me now ASAP, I need a passport and a work visa. LOVE VirginiaRN

Oh, man! I am so jealous of you all getting to meet up with each other. I'll have to organise an In Treatment European Fan Club Convention. In my living room. With special guests. "Dear Gabriel Byrne, Was just wondering if you'd be up for popping over and having a nice cup of tea with some lovely ladies here in EUROPE. We've all been security cleared, and have proper notes from our doctors saying it's safe to be out without a medical orderly to escort us, so you'll not be in jeapordy. Well, much. *ahem, cough cough* Love from Lozzie. p.s. Please wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothes and bring an energy-replacement drink. Or two. Or three. " Lozzie, count me in. But I am not so sure about traveling without a doctor or two!!!! Hope that's ok? (I will have them waiting outside though) Please let me know the date and the place. Thank you for doing this. Love Diba
