There has been a lot of discussion about the ratings and how long this show will run. Hopefully HBO will continue with a second season!

Have you seen HBO's commericals lately for their upcoming "blockbusters"? I don't think I've seen any of them, because they're crap. And this is what they're giving us to look forward to. With all the easy ways we can access movies these days (Netflix, On Demand) we don't them to give us their "exclusives...only on HBO" movies that they'll run over and over. Whatever ideas they have over there, nothing can top the sheer genious of In Treatment. Is that a new vampire show I see they have in the wings? They must be desperate (I know they are), so they should at least stick with something that is growing by leaps and bounds in popularity. We want our, we want our, we want our In Treatment (to tune of Money For Nothing).

All their other shows suck, In Treatment is the only show I watch on HBO now that the Soprano's has ended. Definitely DON'T watch John freekin Adam's, even though they are cramming it down my throat! Miller's Crossing is going to be on IFC tomorrow 9:45am and 5:15pm. Wish HBO would show a few GB movies for us!

It appears HBO will be announcing future programming sometime in April. I'm trying not to, but I have a sickening feeling about it. Hope I'm wrong.

Just a thought HBO. Why not let the series have a chance to make some money? You "claim" to spend millions of dollars on these sets yet only to cancel them? No wonder you "claim" to loose money. You don't give them a chance. And no, I will not take the quotation marks off of "claim" because it's not insulting. I too wonder with the shows increasing popularity, that the actors may want an increase in pay. THEY DESERVE IT!!!! You know HBO, the way you handle your programming and the way you treat your customers is getting really boring. IT was the smartest decision your company ever made. Keep it going.

The latest article on "In Treatment" from the New York Post "Whether they'll have a chance to continue talking about it remains an open question. HBO has not yet officially OK'd a second season, with the decision centered mainly on whether Byrne, the series' star, wants to come back for another go-round."

I will be right there with you sista. I have postponed boot camp until the end of this show. With all of the rewatching of the episodes, I slacked off on my training to get in shape before I left. Now, I am soooo depressed with it ending, I don't know if I will ever be in shape to go now. Oh well, going hit the gym early in the morning to try and get back on the wagon. Not a spring chicken anymore. Don't want to embarass myself with all the young ins'.

Yes, please give us a second season. My wife and I loved the series. Tonight we watched John Adams (tivo'd) and then the season finale. As we were watching we talked about how so much better HBO is than regular t.v. There is really no comparison. My respect for HBO will deepen further if they produce another season of In Treatment. I thought the acting was brilliant, the writing excellent, and that the last few episodes with Sophie were especially moving.

In Treatment is one of the few high quality programs I have EVER viewed on television. It is about time that this culture/nation grows up, and tunes into shows like "In Treatment." It is something from which we can actually learn about which is useful. Imagine That!!! In Treatment is provocative and substantive. We sure as heck don't need any more pointless sex and violent programs being jettisoned into our collective minds--we've had some 50 years of that kind of garbage spewed into our living rooms and look where it got us...........................wars,wars, wars, wars, wars There...I said it and I feel a wee bit better for it

It's probably too much to ask, but I'd like to see HBO post something to us, or send out a news release to the effect of either (1) we're discussing the prospect of season 2 OR (2) forget about it. we're abandoning you. Go sit in the corner with the detritus of Deadwood and Big Love.
