I found a picture of Gabriel Byrne standing in his kitchen. Aside from him looking yummy in his black pajama get-up, he has a smashingly handsome kitchen, which happens to look remarkably like my own. It follows then, that his decorating tastes are superb. I have taken this opportunity to (shamelessly) offer a side by side comparison of our kitchens.

Love you guys really I do but LadyLeslie isnt Gordo any more than Science guy was Gordo.
If her playful suggestion that Gabriel Byrne and I are compatible because of my decorating tastes is causing suspicion or grief then blame it on me. She is joking and so am I.
I know Gordo when I read him, this AINT him.

I'm happy to concede, Violet. That's not my issue, but I appreciate the clarity. My point was really about applauding GB for being able to spend time with Melanie Griffith.
My brother was one of the five members of the Police Commission under the administration of the forner Mayor, Jimmy Hahn. His second year on the Commission, he served as Vice President. His last two years, he served as President of the Commission. He resigned his Commission, as is customary with all five Commissioners, when the new Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, took office. He's now a partner in a law firm and soon to be sworn in as a judge.
One of the perks Police Commissioners and the Police Chief receive is an invitation to the Emmy Awards. Oh how I wish Gabe had been nominated two years ago, but alas, I have the "Afterbyrne" thread to savor.

I have no idea about dominatrix names. My posting name is a hold over from a high school nickname. And Ireland has a Castle Leslie, the location of Sir Paul McCartney's wedding to Heather Mills. So, it seemed like a way to get into the spirit of Irish things, but I'm certainly not trying to make any kind of statement. What would you like to call me? Later...

Sigh . . . again, it depends on WHAT PART of Hollywood you're talking about. Where the Magic Castle is mostly residential, large apartment complexes, big homes, large lots. Kodak didn't revive anything, that particular area has always been a . . . never mind. So which Police Commissioner, there are five? Or do you perhape mean Chief of Police, as one is a political position in L.A. and one is a civil servant position.

It's a hold over from high school. Though I earned varsity letters in Cross Country and Basketball, I'm very dainty and prissy, so I was told. Went into the locker room wearing sneakers and came out slinking in heels.
Plus, my last name is long...lots of letters. And Ireland has a famous castle called Castle Leslie. It's where Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills threw their multi-million dollar wedding. So, I thought that keeping in the spirit of all things related to MR. ULTIMATE IRISHNESS, it was kind of a no brainer for me. What would you rather call me? Later...

Those infamous photographs were taken years after the movie was filmed.
Actually that part of Hollywood ain't crusty, it's pretty nice, lots of big houses up hill from the Magic Castle, some real mid-century stunners too. I have a girlfiriend who lives off the Blvd in that area.

Yeah Violets, but according to the "Shade" DVD, they filmed in the Magic Castle and locations in that crusty part of Hollywood, so Gabriel and Melanie easily spent an hour getting to Malibu. Hey, I'm on the freeways all the time. I totally know what you mean.
In fact, we have a vacation home in Blue Jay near Lake Arrowhead which is in the vicinity of one of these Ladies located in Big Bear. I live on the Southern California freeways for the better part of four hours in a day.
My point was that for Gabriel and Melanie to be photographed at a cafe in Malibu suggested that they were spending more than just a few minutes together and if he could do that with Melanie's whiny self, Touched is in the house! Thanks a bunch.
