Just for fun ... HBO agrees to season two, and Gabriel Byrne comes back because HBO realizes they are nothing without him. Let us say that money is no problem and GB can ask for any actors he wants, and the actors agree (look, I said this was pretend)...and GB asks us, his loyal supporters, to choose six people. Suggestions? I pick: Kevin Spacey, David Duchovny, Michael Chiklis, Jorja Fox, Cate Blanchett, and Queen Latifah.

My 6 would be Jeff Bridges, Linsay Lohan, Meg Ryan, Shia Leboeuf, Jack Nicholson and Jessica Alba 
I loved Jeff Bridges in K-Pax, he could play Gina's role.
Then we would have double eye candy.

hmmmm...not bad...I kinda like the idea of more of the relatively "unknown" so to speak. All the actors you mentioned are amazing, but for me I wouldn't find it very realistic and would have a hard time picturing Queen Latifah in Paul's office, excluding GB of course While the other IT actors have been in other things, they haven't had breakthrough roles(atleast none that I have seen) IT DEFINITELY can and should catapault these amazing actors and actresses into everyday household names. Great Topic
