Thought we might start a thread around all the Gabe directed paths we find ourselves taking...books esp. lately. Who knows where next. What food does he like? Speaking musically, yesterday I decided to order the Soundtrack to Miller's Xing it it has stayed in my mind, so beautiful and of course, Gabe's connection... I, like so many of us including MH are a major Beatles fans. Last night, driving home, I heard the first cut from the remix, Get Back, Pauls' voice sounded like it was covered in gold! Unbelievable, all these new elements emerging! Bet GB has his set now. So anyway...a misc. shared loves thread, if we want... -- Edited by sweetbud at 09/09/2009 7:33 AM PDT

Wow! Thanks, Neek. I had actually only seen Gabriel's picture (but knew it was a series of pics). Some of these broke my heart - Paul Newman, of course, but also Forrest Whitaker and Laurence Fishburn. And Robin Williams!!! (Remember reading that RW made "Mrs. Doubtfire" because of his children being involved in his and his wife's divorce.)

Well, daughter is in the air, flying toward Brooklyn. Will let you all know if she spies MH in her neighborhood.

don't want you to think that I condone violence in any way, coz I don't, but I still find myself feeling proud of Gabriel for sticking up for himself and his right to some privacy and space. See, I don't , I think that was a real temper tantrum and he should've known better. Of course they would photograph that. His reaction wasn't warranted at all I thought. What if that flailing chair hit someone? Nope, not for me.

> TMZ must have said something pretty foul to get GB all riled up like that. Isn't that TMZ's sole reason for being? To bear-bait celebrities into responding like that? ("See that, little people? They're not so cool after all!") > I know one thing, TMZ hasn't bothered him since. I'm completely convinced that TMZ doesn't take that lying down, and has a legion of trolls who salt the discussion boards with scurrilous little bits (remember the "alcoholic red nose...scamming for skirt"? the salacious comments about female characteristics he prefers? Ppthththttt!!! )

I agree completely!! How annoying it must be to be constantly harrassed.....give the guy his space already... He has said himself, that it only annoys him when someone is being rude or just a complete knob....God only knows what was said to him, to make him act that way...

TMZ must have said something pretty foul to get GB all riled up like that. They should be ashamed of themselves. Gabe's pretty strong, though. You don't think that his slim build and medium height would muster all that havoc-causing strength, but he's got all that going on. He calmly walked into the restaurant, sat down, and ate his meal with his friend. I know one thing, TMZ hasn't bothered him since.

Ahhh, but you must admit, sweetbud, that his teeth look really purty and white on that pic. The TMZ people are a bunch of trolls. Months ago, they followed Don Rickles out of a restaurant to his car and were make nasty comments to him the whole time. He kept his cool (hey, the guy must be nearing 90 by now!), but it was no way to treat someone who is well-respected in the industry (I can only imagine what they said to Gabe!!!)
